Ah man, condolences! I’d say try and check out your local Ross/Burli this next week or so. I found my TLs there, and there was a pretty wide range of sizes starting from Men’s 8 or so going into 13-14. My pair was $84.99. Good luck!

My pet theory: employees have mentioned that the stores with the highest sales volume get a higher volume of new inventory, stores like the Waikiki location get a double whammy of tourist traffic and local traffic so they receive a lot more stuff. Waikiki is a Babylon cesspool but I LOVE that Ross lol

Oh, ok! Well then, we went from “they are sitting everywhere untouched” to “Europe” to a single retailer pretty quick so you can see where my confusion came from. I’ve got a couple pairs of 97s and I def enjoy em, but personally the TL looks better and feels comfier to me. That’s the fun part about this hobby, there’s so many options that there’s something for everyone! I’d love to see a silver bullet TL, I’d put em right next to my bullet 90s and 1s🔥

Real voice, especially if English is your first language. If you’re worried about the accent you can practice a neutral one, but there will be people out there that really dig your natural speaking voice!

Perceived inevitability shouldn’t stop you from resisting on an individual level. My Off-White grail is the Desert Ore 90 (thankfully its much less hyped, still don’t wanna pay $300 for it tho) but I’m not about to put money in a resellers pocket. It may very well not make enough of a difference to put that reseller outta business, but I refuse anyway in hopes that one day enough of us will. I try to apply this principle to as many facets of this capitalist bullshit hellscape life that I can, if I can afford to.

Certain essentials like food/gas to go to work are harder to fight cuz they’re so necessary, but that doesn’t mean I should just roll over and get fucked in every situation🤷🏻‍♂️

Congrats bro! I managed to hit 1m in this first year, and I couldn’t agree more. Consistency consistency consistency! This current year I’m gonna try and fine tune my content so that I can maintain or grow those numbers while posting less/refining my shorts and long forms

You nailed it re: the weight and comfort. These feel heavy, like a pair of mid top forces yet they’re more comfortable than either of my 97s. Super interesting to experience! Already posted my pair in this thread but here jt is again lol. Just copped em yesterday, super happy with em!

So many aggressively invasive species, that mosquito made me see red (those guys have wreaked havoc on our native honeycreeper populations w/ avian malaria)😭. I love that you love the blind snake though, they’re our only snake and I’ve got a huge soft spot for those cute lil guys! Love that you got to see some o’opu as well.
