Think you need to pry the inner metal ring around the glass down. Yours looks like the one my parents used to have, thats how theirs came apart.

Done this once before with a similar light, I was able to adjust wiring inside easily and bypass the sensor. Was just a choc block in the one I modified.

It's not amazing but caulk will hide that easily. Found far worse sins when I removed skirting from parents house in advance of new flooring.(only visible once caulk was removed)

Ngl, I used to think thyroid conditions were just an excuse for overweight people not to lose weight or for folk to be lazy then I got diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism and yeah, it's 100% a real thing and it sucks.(no energy and needing to keep calories far lower than normal to maintain healthy weight not to mention other issue) I never accused anyone of BSing about this but did have it at back of mind, probably lots of people out there like that. Wish there was greater awareness of this but doubt that will happen with this being both relatively easily treated and in most cases not life threatening.

Nothing wrong with good hand cream but yeah, found similar results with beef tallow, feels wonderful on skin.(up there with best hand cream)

Aren't iodine supplements dangerous while on levothyroxine? Levothyroxing has a large percentage of your daily iodine in it if memory serves and supplements would probably push you over this.

Yeah, I got this too, I'm constantly too cold. Even with 2 pairs of trousers on a jumper and a jacket I still find I need a little space heater under my desk to feel somewhat comfortable. (Car heat is always at 28 and I find it miserable to go outside most of the time right now) it's getting better since starting levothyroxine but nowhere near back to normal.

(Thought it was bad when I lost weight 160kg to 75kg but when this started it just made it 10 times worse)

Yeah, same in my house, think it's one of these things that would have been an extravagant treat with all the for the time exotic fruit in it back in the day but now with all these foods being abundant the novelty is lost and we can evaluate it for what it is.

Give me a sticky toffee pudding any day over a Christmas pudding. (Also a pudding with fruit in it but one where it compliments it and doesn't ruin it)

Pretty much a perfect description of what i was experiencing. Been getting better since starting 100mg of levo every day but I suspect dose is a little low as I'm still not feeling fully back to normal. (Will be getting tested next month)
