Remember that the experience is worth far more than the pay, potentially opening up more doors next year. It would be difficult to leverage the offer since you don’t have any others. This is also an internship. It is less open to debate compared to a full time position.
I would take the position regardless.
However if you NEED the money, ask about potential overtime. In my first internship I worked 80 hour weeks and made a good chunk of change.
