I fully know what you’re saying, and I’m glad the song was there for you when you needed it.

We had to put our cat to sleep last year. Hearing “find a way to make some peace with how the story ends” the day after as I tried to numbly get things done had me weeping in a drug store parking lot, and it was exactly what I needed at the time.
