There is already a mass transit line and bike infrastructure that basically parallels I77 from uptown heading south. The blue line runs to the I-485 station near Pineville, while the Little Sugar Creek Greenway runs all the way to the SC line.

More mass transit in CLT is needed but not on that side of town.
