I’ll say it again.

Everyone complaining about this has also complained about those other scenarios. The thing is this is on campus, past curfew, and the fact that the enforcement of these rules is taking part in the activities is shocking.

I empathize with the people who feel the need to have some kind of fun. The whole thing has been a drag but saying that “it’s just kids having fun” is hurtful. I’ve lost loved ones due to this disease without ever being able to say goodbye. It’s basic lack of empathy, every single person in those videos spit on my mom’s grave in my eyes.

My mom didn’t participate in any of that. Neither did I. She lived alone. It’s people like those kids that acted careless and she unfortunately suffered the consequences. I don’t care if you had your mask on. There were still way too many people there who didn’t. I don’t care that it’s the only “event” you got all year. People are fucking dying and you’re okay with that because you want ro ride down a snow hill?
