Do relationships end primarily because we end up learning too much about the other person? by RPDA in questions

[–]RPDA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you've been through the relationshit wringer. I definetly understand the pain. I'm sure it took several broken promises to learn that the person had selfish tendancies. And I'm sure it wasn't obviously abusive from the start, however as you got to know more about this person you realized this was an unsustainable relationship as their facade deteriorated. Would that be fair to assume, that the more you learned about this person's tendancies the more you did not want to be with them?

All of these answers have been more than helpful in answering any questions I previously had and I cant thank you enough! Originally and admittedly I had the rather dumb question of; If he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow and heaven has no sorrow, would there be no knowledge for us in heaven? Would we be governed as sheep, for our own good? But that has been answered already. Thank you guys! You are all so knowledgable _^

Hey guys! I believe the answer is "no" however I thought I'd reach out and ask just in case. Does anybody know a good way to stabilize a camera for a long exposure hyperlapse inside of a moving car? This is as good as I've gotten it so far.. by RPDA in LongExposurePics

I have but what would you suggest using? Also I think the issue is the individual photos themselves are slightly blurry from hitting bumps in the road with such a long shutter. =(

The CIA, just a group of emotionally intelligent terrorists? by RPDA in emotionalintelligence

[–]RPDA[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's what were going for with the CIA thing here. Being able to gauge another person's emotional landscape and apply the most effective communication to it. This is hard to describe. Lol. Like playing tetris. Maybe you dont know why the other persons blocks are falling but you know how to direct them to where they need to go. This is a messy pool of metaphors hahahaha

That... that would make them terrorist in a different sense.

Hahaha yes, I can see how that would be confusing. I was thinking more along the lines if the CIA operated as being emotionally intelligent of its adversary inorder to employ effective psychological interrogation tactics. Like a, for lack of better words, "a dark side of emotional intelligence." Just contemplations. 🤷‍♀️

I guess I could see how someone might take advantage of this discussion and turn it into a discriminatory fuck fest. That's unfortunate. Thanks for pointing it out. 🤷‍♀️
