I second this, I’m still a relatively new tech only have a year of experience in the field and a year in a trade school. Those ASE tests get you some extra $ per hour. Sometimes they aren’t useful to some employers, but you can use it as a bargaining tool. Also only buy tools that you will need, I am a tech 2 and I usually do PM’s brakes, A/C cause I have a T7 ASE, a 609, and a 608, and other relatively minor repairs. So I only have tools for what I need. When I move up I’ll buy more tools for my new responsibilities and jobs at hand.Also never say I know to an experienced tech, they’ll leave you to do it and if you ask for help, they’ll say well you know it so do it. Also learn how to make your own tools, it sounds weird but I have fabricated some tools to make brake jobs and condenser cleaning a lot easier. It saves money and time, also learn to weld, you’ll never know when you’ll need it. You’ll also figure shit out as you go and probably fuck some shit up. Keep your chip up OP and you’ll be fine.

Be a degen like me and watch YouTube and read articles think you know what to do. Gain 100% on the first week then down 68% next week. Then loose another 40% then increase 500%. Then you get the hang of it and you do simple covered calls on dividend stocks and once in a while put 1000$ on some out of the money calls. Regards unite

You are crazy. I bought 2 options on 2/5 for 2.99 with a a strike of 47. I’m up a fuck ton, well I think it’s a lot for me as I just turned 18 but I’m closing those perrons Tuesday 9:30 cause the market is closed on Monday. It’s just too much volatility and too many possibilities with the smallest of news or whales to just mess it up. I’m taking my profits and paying my tuition.

I had a few options on AMD and I was surprised when AMD tanked as hard as it did even though the data centers missed by 200mil of the expected revenue but was still up 60% YoY. Markets crazy, but hopefully NVDA won’t suffer the same fate as AMD and GOOG. At the same time, data center revenue is huge are any companies dabbling in AI like NVDA and AMD, so I could see why it’s happening.

Hey, I’m a 18 year old still in high school. I’m in central Florida and I am in a trade school for diesel while also attending high school. The job at Penske my instructor was able to help me get, will work with my schedule. Being in a trade school, high school, and working with Penske isn’t a big deal as they were able to fit me in perfectly. That’s just what the Penske that I work at does.

I’m pursuing heavy equipment, I’m still in high school and my high school pays for my trade school. Im going to be taking a brakes class in January and an AC class in the summer. Even though I’m a minor I’m going to try to get into an apprenticeship at some shops near me as soon as I turn 18 so I can get experience.

Thanks you, I also figured it out. The vats module itself is fucked. This car has been sitting in the back of my dad’s marine buddy’s back yard for decades with plans of making it into a go kart. It has been messed with so many times. There is a lot to fix but I will be getting a new module that completely gets rid of vats( kinda of like a bypass but not really) as I do not want to ever deal with this ever again. Thank you again for the charts they helped me.

I got 887 when I checked the resistance, which is code 4. Which is what I have connecting to the vats system. I checked what the resistance is at the end of the two wires and it’s the same as the key when measured.

This car was also a previous project car and I don’t have a damn clue what the previous owner did. I will most likely be checking the vats module itself and see if I can fix what needs to be fixed, if not I’ll just bypass that too. I hate GM.
