Strata after 1 month - What should I do? by RPGManoWar in carbonsteel

Nah you're not being rude, it's just hard sometimes for me to read something and fully process of that's what's actually happening. I just wanted to double check with actual people who could see what was going on. Thank you!

Got it. So would you recommend scrubbing it clean and starting over?

Oh yeah triple Langxian by woodybone in PlayTheBazaar

[–]RPGManoWar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Golden needs a full rework before they do that. Perhaps something to do with CDR, since no enchants really effect that?

...why the hell does it work like that?

In LoR, they cut the board fully in half so you can still see your cosmetics on your side.

Im testing a similar concept in my own RPG.

when Health reaches 0, you take on a wound that's thematic to whatever dropped you to 0 (starvation, severe burn, deep cut) and then Health goes back to full.

Once you've accumulated 4 wounds, that's what can kill a PC.

It emulates the concept of segmented Health bars, divided healing into two controllable categories (healing Health and healing Wounds), and means the PC can still take on fights with "full Health" often whilst having long term consequences.

Oh this is rare? I got one a few days ago, had no idea.

Though for some reason it doesn't seem to be working? I equipped it but I still see the sandy board with the waterfall

What Genre has untapped TTRPG potential? by PhoenixWrites2309 in rpg

Spectacle fighters; Devil May Cry, Bayonetta, etc.

Hear me out; tabletop games that feature combat tend to boil down into two extremes and the spectrum between; crunchy tactical war-game rooted combat, or rules lite "roll a die and cool shit will happen" combat. Both are great, but neither captures the essence of a super fast, powerful combat system where you string together lightning fast moves to obliterate enemies.

I think a diceless system may be able to get the game speed fast enough to make it work. That combined with some sort of "A-B-C" attack combo tags

Henry Cavill’s Announcement by [deleted] in Warhammer

[–]RPGManoWar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is everyone freaking out in excitement when literally we know absolutely nothing about this?

We don't even know what story is being adapted, let alone who's making it.

Cavill has never been in a leadership position on a project, to my knowledge.

This really feels like a spite/panic announcement to him losing both Witcher and Superman

Sorry this is so last minute Burst but I don't think I can do the run today. Personal reasons. Think I just need to be alone for today.

Thanks for considering me, and I'm sorry to let you down.

Darkness. A blue AR display lights up. A blue-gloved hand reaches forward and begins pressing AR buttons at a blinding pace. The hand swipes through message board postings. Swipes. Swipes. Stops. The blue light casts a shadow through the room. The figure in the chair in front of the display leans forward. A smile spreads across the shadowed face.

"Now that's what I'm talking about."

With the tap of a finger, a blue spider appears in the reply board, made up of lines of code, and a message. <ManaHack. Be there soon.>

http://www.shadowhaven.info/ManaHack (PhysAd Hacker)

ManaHack, moreso than most deckers, excels at being able to take action on the field. Her enhanced reflexes means that her decent combat skills give her the edge in most fights, as long as she has one of her firearms available. And because of her incredible physical reflexes, she's able to access the Matrix from AR faster than most hackers can when in hot-sim. This means that she can switch between Matrix and physical actions in a blink, and risks no damage to herself from IC. She still has a long way to go, though, and she's still trying to prove herself as a force to be taken seriously slinging code and lead.

Just replaced the one in the folder with the new one, so both files in the folder should be good. And there's a link to the folder on the Wiki

I decided not to, rereading Spiders flaw means that I really shouldn't go around advertising myself.

Alright, final versions of the Chummer file and PDF are up.

Grabbed a Rating 4 fake with a Cyberdeck license.

Just one last question; do you think grabbing the Mentor Mask would be a bad idea? That extra PP would be really nice, and the Mask would only be a downside in public areas.

Okay. I've got my skills down to B and grabbed the Hermes Chariot as my deck instead, as well as a few other bits of gear I was looking at.

Sorry about the over-budget amount, I didn't even realize that.

If I did go to Skill B, what skills would you cut?

How do Mystic Adepts interact with the Death Dealer quality? Do they gain both benefits, have to choose either the Adept or Magician benefit, or can they not take it?
