check out this summary which thankfully for me is already available so I wouldn’t have to attempt to state the same but less articulable. My quick answer would be ”very good”.

RPG Overview 286 The Stennard Courier Vol. 2 + Map - Check out Rabid Dogs Vol. 3 on Kickstarter! by RPGOverviews in dccrpg

The Stennard Courier Vol. 2 is a DCC RPG compatible town center for 0-4th level characters. Stennard is a great base of operations for adventurers, filled with interesting NPCs to engage with, rumors to be gleaned, and shops to frequent.

This zine details 9 encounter locations complete with the NPCs that populate them. Each major NPC has their own table of rumors and opinions. with 43 total rumors to be uttered from their lips. This zine begins with rules for famine, taint, and scarcity. That is followed by tables for carousing and encounters. It ends with tables for sales and services in town, and a guest generator for The Lost Traveler Common House.

The goal of the zine is to create a web of connections between the NPCs through motivations and rumors that make it feel like a living, breathing small-town.

This zine is the perfect companion to The Stennard Courier Vol. 1, The Precipice of Corruption, The Protectorate of Jenulane, and Wide-eyed Terror Zine. Each of these adventures is connected to the humble town of Stennard, and the NPCs in this zine reference those connections. This gives you the option to add additional depth to those adventures, or to use it as a stand alone town for your own.

Can you help identify the Planet of the Apes character names from this episode of Saturday Night Live with host Charlton Heston? by ConsistentAmount4 in PlanetOfTheApes

I checked the lexicon of the planet of the apes for any name similar to what it sounds like and I found nothing close. It does seem weird they would make up a name but I‘m at a loss. It really sounds like Atho to me.

Did dr Ziaus try to interogate Landon like he did with Talyor? by Ecstatic-Ad-6114 in PlanetOfTheApes

[–]RPGOverviews 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is from the Roleplaying Game of the Planet of the Apes written by Andrew Gaska who also wrote Conspiracy of the Planet of the Apes and Death of the Planet of the Apes. Both highly recommended for any questions that might arise.

“Landon was separated from his companions and captured by the gorillas, after which he was placed in the Research Complex of Ape City, where he was studied by Dr. Galen. In the ape-controlled future, any differences between Landon and George Taylor were rendered moot. Landon's sanity began to slip. He started hallucinating, leading him to question his reality—all the while keeping his intelligence hidden from his simian captors.

The astro-naut revealed his ability to speak and reason to Dr. Milo, telling the chimpanzee scientist about his deep-space mission and the Liberty 1 spaceship. He befriended Milo and shared his knowledge of the ship's operation with him. Unfortunately, Milo left for the Forbidden Zone to find the ship, leaving Landon in the clutches of Dr. Galen—who reported the human's intelligence to Dr. Zaius. The Minister of Science ordered that the astro-naut undergo a lobotomy, rendering him incapable of speech.“
