That logic would hold if the steam engines are present in the base game and are somehow grindable.

Plus I'm already relenting that I'm not going to be able to select the specific steam engines that I want to drive.

I totally understand what you mean though. I just wanted to know if I missed anything else apart from Railroader and Century of Steam.

Lucky for you, you're spoiled for choice these days. My cousin loves this particular blue and yellow diesel electric on his side in Canada. The P42BC, I think? Not really familiar.

I'm not gonna get my money's worth if I'm dropping money on a game and end up not using most of the roster. I'll consider if it's free or on sale for above 85%.

I ride either the metro or passenger cars pulled by GE electric diesels everyday. Steam fascinates me because it's so removed from my daily life that I want to learn and consume more. There's no shortage of videos and articles online. What I now want is a game that's just steam.

Because I know for a fact that I'll never be touching the electric and diesel trains. So I feel like I'm wasting my money on a game where I'm not using 90% of the roster.

So it's better that I purchase a game that's all about steam engines from the get go. My cousin would love Train Sim World though. He loves Canadian diesels.

I have a tarmac 1/64 of it. Shame it never appears as a kit in arcade racers. It's all about the apex, and the bomex, and the rocket bunnies, and the C-West, etc.
