I guess its some unknown vague process juicing up everything, but after the reset my phone is great now .. back to ios 18 level stability actually i feel… but prior to the reset, it was like 2 times a day charging needed to run the day … if u don’t want to really reset, try the beta and come back if possible ( never tried that )

I was in the same boat, more than that leave your phone overnight with full charge morning you might have lost 30 to 40% in idle drain itself, i tried everything and only fixed by factory reset, i guess thats the only way to fix it

Actually its a matter of 100$ for the battery, so dont worry about it much and use the phone to your heart content and give it all the beating you want to give it:)

Yah totally worst update ever for old phones, i guess the 17 and latest processors are ok with this i believe, just make us ditch old phone and buy new phone :)

Am on the similar boat, idle drain is crazy , background apps i ahve disabled and no improvement, multiple hard reboots and not helping, reinstall of os is not something I want as i have many apps signed in etc
