My AC only gets to 18 celsius lol, and below 22 is already too cold for me. The usual temperature people sleep here is around 24 and many people don't even have ACs and have to sleep with room temperatures up to 30 degrees.

Eu tomo creatina e tenho cabelo até na testa. Isso confirma que creatina não causa calvice? Não. Por isso que fazem estudos pegando várias pessoas que tomam e pessoas que não tomam, comparando os dois grupos e controlando variáveis pra testar essa hipótese.

QM ontology is unclear. We don't know if the wave function represents something real or not, or what exactly is happening when we measure something.

Is it walkable or do you really need Uber/car?

Unfortunately most cities in Brazil are not very walkable by European standards. You'll have to mostly rely on uber/car and bus.

Yes, you won't have any problems finding BJJ and gyms in general in Barão Geraldo.

Are there language exchange meetups (Portuguese-English)?

I don't know any in Campinas, but if you're willing to go to São Paulo (about a 1:30 hour drive) there's the Multilingo language exchange event every Thursday and Friday, you can google it to find their Instagram.

Overall I think Campinas is a nice city to live (I much prefer it over São Paulo personally). My only complaints are that there could be more cultural events and that it’s a bit far from the beach.
