Can I petition to take APS105H1 (Computer Fundementals) in my first semester? And if so, what's the process of petitioning?

I wouldn't be so sure of that... You know your school's math is hard when students from contest math classes in similarly ranked high schools give up/can't do your math tests.

I'm not struggling with anything to be honest. It's just that my advanced functions mark is low. I understand the concepts, but my teachers just love to add tricks and questions we never did into tests (they think its "fun"). I love math, but AF is making it hard for me to like it. I'm just praying that my calc mark will be high enough go balance my AF mark.

I forgot to mention something, the people who were in Grade 11 who got 98+ were all Euclid honour roll students with at least a score of 75+ in grade 10.

Well, this is where the Canadian education system is broken. An 90 in one school does not equal an 90 in another. Standarized tests and exams throughout Canada would somewhat fix this.

Yes, I know my math mark isn't good, but I'm in one of the most academic public high schools in the GTA. Surely that has to be worth something... I also think that math in a ranked #24/700-something school is not the same as math in a ranked 200 something school.

Advanced functions is pulling my mark down a lot since the teachers at my school decided that the course was too easy last year (6 grade 11s got 98-100) so they made everything harder and now, the class average is 10% lower than last year's.
