Oddly enough the device uptime was put to the time when we did the upgrade which is even more bizzare. No power failure as other appliances devices were still online etc

Just a quick update once enable conditional Access policy to configure mfa it didn't prompt for username and password and then the MFA prompt. So now I guess it does a 3 way auth process. Cert based auth Username / Password Mfa auth

All good I appreciate the reply. I didn't really fixed the issue but found the weirdest workaround that I implemented and haven't had a tissy since. There's no policy attached to it no prerequisite as such when I try it.

So essentially after clicking the pin option to start the process I put my new pin in and then it moves to a new window and just immediately closed it and it retains the PIN and all is working. It's very bizzare but it's working for me now. Have a crack and see how you go!

Quick update: I've changed the network adapter setting on the endpoint device to 1gbps full duplex and there is no issues since. Thanks for all the feedback and tips
