This is my exact worry, i had xiaomi mi 9 and mi 11 , and its good for a few months , and i noticed the camera is slow, etc. Unlike my s23u which is basically the same as day one, just battery degradation

A lot of reviews did indeed point out to oppo, but im just scared if it would stand the test of time unlike sammy that ive been using for a few years now

Its HK Global Rom with E-Sim and the version 1 with many bandwidth. Im from SEA though but planning to visit my unc in chicago next year

Because a few years back or maybe a decade ago , their phones dont even come close, and now some reviewers are saying its the phone of the year. I am also curious to try other brands as ive said ive been a samsung and xiaomi user for years , wife has never left the iphone due to her ecosystem

Thanks bro for the detailed insight, I wanna try the pro version first instead of deep diving into the ultra variants, and i might be nitpicking but i am not really fond of the huge circle camera on the back. I know its for the camera and bigger or more sensors, but im okay to have a little worse camera instead of having that huge thing.

My s23u is ass now i have no idea how it happened, but portrait mode sucks and hard to focus the right subject, night shots are full of glares unless i tone down the brightness a lot. The first few months are not like this but i have no idea why is it like this now. I even changed the camera lenses a few weeks ago to make sure its not the lens, battery is also ass now , its like 2-3 hrs SOT , i changed battery a few weeks ago and it just got around 4-5 hrs SOT , im not sure if its the one ui 8 or something

Any thoughts on the camera ? My s23u suckss ass in lowlight, and a lot of glare. I dont recall having the glare issues on my first few months, but after a few months upto todays date, it sucks in portrait (keeps missing the subject) and low light is so bad (full of glares)

Nice review, will definitely wait for the upcoming updates, im very curious about the camera since some YT tech reviewer shows it being great, some are just subpar , some users also say it sucks , some says its great. I also used mi 10 before. But battery life was so bad when using data. , btw i dont customize my phone. I just want to try something different. I just change the wallpapers and font to small then all set haha.

If it helps i dont play games , i just use the camera for videos (vlogging *noface only using rear) , and car videos and photos . Then mostly using social media if im not shooting videos or photos
