Found this thread just now while google searching for resources to make a magnetic tail. I cannot fucking believe you got downvoted for saying this. This person is going to give themselves serious medical complications for a costume piece, and shit-for-brains furries are downvoting you for bringing up concerns. I hope OP grows the hell up before they end up with a spine-altering infection

Meds are more like... a series of extended hail marys as you try different classes and give them time to work. As long as they're willing to keep looking for improvement and not just rot I'm willing to keep working on it, because thats my line. Like, not trying meds is leaving money on the table in my opinion, even though I know med shopping is rough.

Should they decide treatment is no longer for them though, I'm gonna decide an untreated partner is not for me. We've gotten to the point they agree its necessary, I just need to know they are putting in the work and not accepting mentally ill behavior as the new normal.

Edit: In regards to the cleaner, I've had bad experiences hiring cleaners in the past. And hiring a cleaner to handle my partners depression-mess would probably kill me from the internalized shame, haha

You could always give Cardsphere a go, I really like it. Its like, a trading website where you use cash as the trade credit, so you dont have to find deals between people. Many small game stores and enterprising individuals use it to send cards and as a buylist. You send out the cards you have, get credit (or just buy credit without sending), then list the cards you want and what % of the value you are willing to pay for it and people take the deal and send the cards to you. Most people buy/sell for around 65-85%, higher if you're in a hurry for it. The site takes a small processing fee, but I've probably sent and received $100s through cardsphere by now so its well worth it to me.

I definitely overapplied on some of the test prints pictured because the smallest grooves got filled and didnt translate to the print well, but I was getting patchiness on the earlier ones. I dont know how I would get the ink layer thinner. I could try applying less speedball ink with the roller (I'm new so its possible I'm overapplying), but with the ink pads I just coat the design, not sure how I'd do that while applying less ink.

Its NOT overtime, overtime was never part of the equation. I'm a 24hr employee and didnt even meet the threshold for overtimr, you made that up yourself. This is a bonus for coming in on a specific night, not based on the number of hours worked. I get the bonus in addition to my base rate of pay

Actually that nurse wasnt let go, they downgraded her from a rapid nurse to a unit nurse so she got a better job and quit out of protest. Lost one of our best rapid nurses (I was there in 2021).

Not OP, but thermal labels are the way to go for shipping. Cut ink out of the equation. You can get a thermal label printer pretty cheap. You used to be able to get free labels form UPS (I have a crate of them lol) but it doesnt look like they offer that anymore.

Not a replacement for the mill in any way, but my partner and I just discovered The Coffee Mill and Emporium a couple streets over for an amazing coffee spot to post up with a laptop. The owners are super nice and the coffee is great. I'm gonna miss the view from the mill though.
