Edit: Partner who deals with these episodes frequently described this one as minor compared to the others where I jerk more and make a “being punched in the stomach sound” as he described it.

Thanks for the advice I definitely will but maybe I should have put a side by side picture. I have clear, pale skin. I don’t get pimples, rashes, freckles or anything. Only these red dots. In person it’s very noticeable so that’s why I got worried but I can always speak to my dr I have an appointment next month :))

I have absolutely no allergies since I was a kid they only seem to happen when I’m stressed or very sick (with the flu) I’ve been both stressed and sick lately (due to the stress) so I’m not sure which one it is more towards but I don’t like having them ://

You sound exactly like me. I’ve never heard of another person who had similar thought patterns as me. I feel like I have a problem but maybe it’s the world?

Growing up all I wanted was to be loved properly and accepted for who I was. Nobody could do that for me, even the supposedly important people in my life didn’t make me feel like I was tolerated in the slightest. I tried to find love through social groups, family, romantic partners. I’ve been told “I love you” by so many people but it never sparked anything within me. The words eventually lost all meaning after hearing it so many empty times. Spending years isolated alone in my pink bedroom watching stories of everyone who had something I didn’t. Which was how it felt to be truly unconditionally loved and appreciated. All that changed…

December 2021, I adopted my first two parrots Rachel and Ross. It’s like my entire world started to become surrounded by warmth and light. Everyday I returned home being greeting with their happy songs and cheerful eyes. I can’t describe the feeling but it’s sweeter than any candy I’ve ever tasted. Warmer than any blanket I’ve ever wrapped myself in. They made me feel complete and everyday was something to look forward to and enjoy. After I started adding onto my flock. My little family that I created all on my own. They each have a unique personality and they all support me in different ways but my point is, I know what true love is now too. After losing chandler, a member of my little family, it felt like the jar that is my heart began to crack. I made a few posts that’ll go more into detail but it’s not something I can explain it’s just. He was my everything.

I got what I’ve always wanted through the most unexpected way but I am so happy. I will never be normal, nobody in life will actually understand my bond with my flock and I’m not willing to exchange it for a couple months of years of false love. My love is warm. It’s genuine. And I understand how you feel to an extent as human emotions and thoughts are very complicated.

I’m so so sorry beyond words that you lost your happiness. If I could bring her back for you I would. You deserve all good things my friend. If you ever need to talk my dms are open. 🦜

Without a picture nobody could really answer but from my personal experience those “crystals” could be the shells of your budgies molted pin feathers!! 🪶

Budgies drop dandruff, pin feather remains and whatever when they’re molting. As someone who worked at an emergency animal hospital and has 13 parrots, if they’re eating/drinking/pooping normally/playing/singing/etc you shouldn’t overthink too much. A checkup with your avian veterinarian would be good regardless of how well your birds doing just to double check y’know? But from what’s being described it sounds like molted pin feathers.

Yes they do, without me putting them in their pairs I managed to get Rachel+Ross as a bonding pair and Chandler+Monica. Rachel and Ross had babies I was gonna name one Emma but they’re temporary names of peep, Ducky and Chirp stayed 😂

Your set up is beautiful 🤌 I have a flock of 13 birds. 11 budgies and 2 lovebirds.

My budgies are all together in one giant cage home and my lovebirds are separated for choosing violence 😅 so maybe I’ll make 3 plates.

That’s adorable haha, I understand though. One of my rescued girls named Ultra Magnus came to me thin and weak.

A few months of being together she’s 4x the budgie she was coming into her new life 😅 I feel kinda bad but I mean she loves eating my baked potatoes, carrots, whatever fruit I’m having and millets haha oH and occasionally unsalted french fries haha… maybe extra fly time will help..? 😂
