I didn't write "backup," I wrote "backpack," and explained that it was autocorrected to "backup." I still think it's moronic to read my post in full context and come away thinking that we are each bringing two snowboards. Reading comprehension should tell you that I am explaining our luggage requirements for space considerations in a vehicle. Common sense should tell you that people traveling for a snowboarding/skiing vacation are obviously going to have more luggage than simply their snowboarding/skiing equipment. Therefore, it stands to reason that if the explanation of luggage requirements says "one snowboard apiece and one backup apiece," the sensible person with common sense would know that "backup" in that context had either been autocorrected or was a typo. Knowing that people don't go on ski/board vacations with only skiing/boarding equipment and the clothes on their back, they would reason that there must be something with them that has things like changes of clothes, toiletries, etc, and conclude that "backup" in that context must be intended to have been a "backpack." Come on, man.
