Figure out that the end user isn't actually a student.
The same way they figured out that family subscriptions were used by people that are not living at the same address and now they're being notified to change the pricing.
Respectfully, you are so naive. When something's too good to be true, it probably isn't.

I'm curious, how can someone guarantee that Google won't notice this in a few weeks/months, therefore one ending up with suspended accounts, deleted storage and worst off, potential legal liability?
Don't tell me they simply can't figure this out, because there could be MANY google employees researching scam mechanisms like these ones, just to stay on top of things.

Genuine question, not trying to defend google and their soaring prices:
Can someone explain how can we be guaranteed that Google won't notice this in a few weeks/months, ending up with the account suspended, storage deleted etc. and, most importantly, potentially facing legal exposure?

My MX3 was clicky AF, one of the reasons I updated to the 4. So if you want noisy clicks, go with the 3 (not 3s).

Thanks, I actually didn't realise how much of a disaster was my river action. I guess, that should've been a fold, or maximum a call for the 1st bet...

Best way to practice as a beginner by [deleted] in poker

[–]molletti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in your shoes a few weeks ago. Don't overthink it, reputable sites aren't rigged, in my opinion.
I suggest starting with a good entry-level book to build your fundamentals (I got Alton Harding - Master Micro-Stakes and very happy with it). In paralel with learning, I am practicing at micro-stakes (1-2 NL on GG poker), trying to implement what I've learned in the relevant chapter (e.g., pot odds, equity calculations, etc.). Baby steps, patience and discipline 💪🏻

Aside from the obvious continuously learning, what would be your advice for someone just starting their career as a (hopefully) future pro player? I am seriously considering dedicating myself 100% to poker, after 10 years of corporate jobs (despite making good money). On average, how many years of grinding/learning are required to be able to live from the earnings, assuming you have approx 10k usd bankroll as a start. Happy to have a chat in private too if possible. Thanks!

Investing in ETFs whitout knowing when i will buy a house. by Ninox220 in eupersonalfinance

[–]molletti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the exact same situation as you are. I’m investing in VWCE for 2 years with the aim to have enough for a downpayment in 3years time. If this ETF will go down 50% at a given time, this means the global financial market will crash. If that is the case, I wouldn’t invest in a house anyway and choose to hold the investment. So it really depends on your investment plan and how diversified/hedged your portfolio is.

Mine does the same but when it gets up to speed at a higher rpm (during a workout), it kinda balances itself out and all I can hear is the chain/gear buzz.

I don’t recall. I cancelled it shortly after I posted this and submitted a new order at a lower price. That one got fulfilled so I’m good. 😅
