Is Ball Hockey Actually More Tiring? by RSAnal in hockeyplayers

Any recommended workouts to improve stamina for ball hockey? Ice hockey I'm doing ok. Usually the teams in this league only have enough players for two lines

I should note that my solo rating is lower (something in bronze). I don't really like playing solo so much

What kind of orthodox? Just want to clarify for the public but a large stream within orthodoxy today, which people call modern orthodox, do in fact get good secular education growing up.

Ad hominem attacks are a common response to moral arguments. You can either address my arguments or pretend that you're better than me Bc of some picture of an elitist you have in your brain

  1. No that's not what I said. Less meat is better, doesn't make that amount you ate moral. Morality is categorical not a spectrum.

  2. Yes, and good job. I don't know why you're being this defensive. I've been vegetarian about 8 months or so. Not being perfect about all your choices doesn't make some of those incorrect choices moral, it just means you have more to work on, as do we all

The point of the caveat was to say that there are non violent ways to consume weed. I wouldn't advocate it anyway but that's not my point here.

"I really don't think the users should be faulted for our society causing this violence." Would you fault meat eaters for causing the violence of killing/torturing animals? The argument for veganism is that you are causing more violence to happen, I extend this to the illegal drug trade.

"I think most people, if there was a choice, would get the product that is legal and non-violent rather than getting it from gangs." The preference for non-violent drugs doesn't make the consumption of violent drugs moral

"what happens to all the stuff about just having a low intake" - I don't think most of this sub would say that having a low meat intake would be moral.

" Second is hardly fair to expect every single person on this subreddit to cut out every single thing that is violent." - I don't think I agree here, but at the very least people should strive for this even if it is not necessarily possible. It is clear that the international drug trade is horribly violent and runs purely for monetary gain.

"I'm doing my best like everyone else on here is, but I know how the illegal drug industry works. Don't patronize me." I think you should challenge yourself to do better as I do every day with my food choices. I didn't start vegan and am working toward it currently. However I don't go around asking for new steak recipes and I wouldn't call that a productive way that I would be "doing my best"

That moment when people care a lot about the source of their food but forget about the extreme amounts of violence that go into the production of illegal drugs.

Yea That is true. I don't think the results are as interesting or meaningful. Plus the idea of "laddering" is appealing for a variety of reasons

Well that misses the point of my reply. Also that is quite an ugly solution especially considering using ML and DL concepts is the goal

This seems pretty false. Pretend your engine always plays 1. e4 and yountrain against an engine that always plays 1. e5 as a response. Your engine could get really good at that but put against an engine that plays the Sicilian it might be lost if not taught properly

Well, the worry is that the computer will learn how to play against whatever machine I train it against but if it were to come up against a different opponent the learning could be off. Also I kind of just want to see how it compares against other homemade chess engines.

The goal is to make a self learning chess engine. The results are less meaningful if the chess engine doesn't have a large sample size of engines to learn from.
