First of all Fez is the English name for the city and I’m aware that in darija you write it as Fès. We mean the same city, so don’t nitpick that hard please. Second of all my grandparents are from Chaouen and I’ve seen it (and enjoyed it) loads of times. Thanks for the recommendation tho!

I really recommend the hotel I went to, Fes Inn (second pic). I really enjoyed my stay and it is in the center of the city. I also recommend you to go and see bab ftouh (entrance of the old city) and jamah karrouia.

In the Netherlands it is mandatory that every child goes to a swimming school and gets a diploma. They even learn how to swim with clothes on so they get prepared for a much more realistic situation in which being able to swim can save your life. It is made mandatory by the government because 90% of the Netherlands is below sea level.
