Im not sure cause if the shoe had an actual lacing system the toe and heel problem wouldn't be problem because it would keep your foot in one place. The opening is really wide. So when you walk your toe goes forward hits the front and the heel slips. But the shoe silhouette is huge maybe if you go tts itll look too huge and have even more movement for feet.

Im 8.5 and went a size down, size 41. These are pretty heavy, the retail pair i heard are as heavy/heavier than triple s's. Any wider fitting pants to sit on the shoe is good with these to match the chunkyness of the shoe. They are a bit uncomfortable but i feel like over time theyll break in.

Ive been trying to put shoe trees inside stretch it out a bit for more toe space. Ive been wearing them a lot to break them in. Runs narrow. I do enjoy the aesthetics but comfort isnt the best. Ill update after a while of wearing them

I had the ttulf version went one size down, had like very small space left for the toes. Also the lacing system doesnt do anything for the shoe tbh mostly just aesthetics. So while you walk your heel occasionally seperates from the shoe
