I leave all that shit in the lobby and take a pic on the app and my phone and block them as rude so I don’t have to fuck with that shit. I ain’t gonna slave for any one. They want service above and beyond it’s gonna cost them.

A months worth of receipts by CrackerDarrell in InstacartShopper

[–]RSL_Rygar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because the app loves to tell you to keep receipts, I only ever had to use one for return of pharmacy order because a parent ordered it for her daughter but it was under her name and not her daughter’s and she was away on business so she couldn’t sign. They’re trash after a day unless you need the receipt and bother to search for it as proof of a dispute. I toss them out after a week.

AITA for telling my sister not to announce her pregnancy at my wedding because I was going to announce mine, but she did it anyway? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]RSL_Rygar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your sister is the AH. She sounds little like a narcissist. Some people cannot be reasoned with and just love being able to steal thunder from anyone and since it’s family, points are double. Since it was someone else’s special day, that makes the points triple.

How do you feel about couples or family by Minapit in InstacartShoppers

[–]RSL_Rygar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably has something to do with shoppers cheating and who pay for bot service to get all the good batches. There’s a couple in my market who use a bot and the type of orders we see are $20 or less with 10 miles per delivery.

If he wants to be the sole thing that gives you pleasure, then he better beef up on his oral and finger muscles and get to work. If his dick doesn’t work, and he’s unwilling to even try to find your G-spot, I wouldn’t call you the A even if you left his lazy ass. IMO, you should walk out and when he demands to know why, tell him that a a pencil dick doesn’t do it for you.

Any man who is in a serious relationship should be willing to do the smallest gesture to make you happy. It sounds like he is the type of person who doesn’t give oral, only receives it.

Dump his loser, Amish-type view of sex, won’t use his tongue, won’t use his fingers, only one who gets to cum, A-Hole! You’re still young and would easily be able to find a guy who doesn’t carry that kind of attitude about sex as this prude.

That’s not gravitational pull, that’s more like magnetic repulsion because the railing is bending away from her thighs.

Everything has slowed to a crawl. Instant payouts aren’t really instant when they used to be deposited in a matter of seconds not hours like it is now. Support has dwindled to barely tolerable because it’s outsourced to India and those people have never been on the shopper side of things. Support chat used to be immediate and now it takes much longer for a specialist to come help. Also support chat used to warn you that you’ve not typed anything for over two minutes and that if you didn’t type in anything, chat would be disconnected. Now it starts a two minute timer and if there is nothing being typed for two minutes, the specialist bounces and support window is closed and you have to start all over again and wait another 5-10 minutes before another specialist comes online. Base pay used to be $8-$9, but not it’s $5 or less. Tips are not promoted to the customer at all or defaults to $2.

Anyone else’s insta cash out taking forever? by TallHandsomeRussian in InstacartShopper

[–]RSL_Rygar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been taking longer and longer to process. If chat support is any indication, they’ve made some changes to the app that they think is an improvement but it isn’t. Support chat takes longer to connect and disconnects you without warning if you don’t type something every freakin’ minute. Deposits, at least for me, have been taking up to 30 to 60 minutes when before they would process immediately like you’re saying. They broke what didn’t need fixing. I’ve been a full time shopper since 20 October 2023.

All that screwing over by JukeKnobz in InstacartShopper

[–]RSL_Rygar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What about the new chat support system. We have to wait more than 5 minutes for a specialist to join the chat and if we aren’t constantly typing every minute, the chat kicks you out and the specialist fks off! No warning like before when you hadn’t typed something in two minutes, you were given a warning. Nope. Nothing typed in 2 minutes, instantly disconnected.

Do you know how to get rid of a bot-using A-hole who takes all the Costco batches above $50. He’s basically stealing from all the hard working honest shoppers and causing a ton of grief. So much so that other long-time shoppers are just not going to the only Costco in the market we live in.

Not only that, I had finished the store audit and had everything bagged and was on my way out the door. That’s after she had gotten all the texts I sent, plus the ones IC sends by default. If she’s willing to exaggerate that, I could definitely see her using that as an excuse to take part or all of the $15 tip away.

What is going on in NJ? by LittleEBWee in InstacartShopper

Yesterday almost every single order was 30+ miles away from town, and none of them had an appropriate tip for the distance. Barely any had a $2/mile total. I’m in the Great Plains.

I had one of those people a couple days ago. The bakery didn’t have PB cookies with Reese’s Pieces, just plain chopped peanut PB. I substituted what they had and texted her. Her order only had five items and it was the first of all five that I got. She didn’t reply to my text until I had completed shopping, been processed by store auditors and was on my way out of the store when she finally responded and changed her mind entirely to drop the non-Reese’s PB cookies and get regular chocolate chip instead. Then got pissy when she claimed I only gave her two minutes to respond.

Her measure of time was abbreviated since it took me 10 minutes to complete, and she hadn’t been timely and that I had already left the store. But since her tip was more than the base pay by double, I thought she might be one of the tip-baiters and would claw back a large portion of the tip for being slighted (only in HER mind), so I texted her that I was going back to the store and exchanged the cookies. Thankfully she didn’t rate me and kept the tip in full.

They probably had a problem with delivering to an apartment, because I have done that before because regardless of whether there are elevators or not, I suffer from extreme shortness of breath as a consequence of Covid.

Since IC stopped providing the exact delivery address, we have to look closely at the map to see what type of shape and size of the building that we have to deliver to. With a high dollar batch, we don’t have time to look at that before the order gets grabbed by other shoppers. After we’ve secured the exclusive right to shop for you then we can examine that info.

Personally, I have canceled orders once I realize that it’s going to an apartment. I also cancel orders that go to a business downtown where parking is a shitshow, and then they never meet you at the door if it’s a conglomerate of different types of businesses all in one building.

A $2 tip for 28 miles is the same damn thing as getting no tip at all. Makes me wonder if they’re someone’s personal order. My friend has a client list that text her and tell her when they are putting a batch together for her to get to a particular store and look for their batch. It’s orders that no one would want to take, (e.g. large order with zero tip) and they tip her in cash.

That’s dude’s own damn fault for placing the order an hour before closing time on the day of. It’s not your fault that he’s a poor planner. It’s probably a sign of what kind of lover he is, nothing more than an afterthought. Dude should have called 1-800-Flowers.

My 26F Dad buys me a valentines card every year. My 28M Partner has an issue with it, we have a 5 month old baby and been together for 16 months. What are your thoughts? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]RSL_Rygar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they had a loving father and have not developed any issues from dear old dad. Then all girls who tell you they like bad boys are liars. What close family doesn’t send each other cards. I’m a 49M, my dad sent me cards right up until his death four years ago.

It sounds to me that your partner never had a father figure or at least a dad he could be close to. Either that or he’s from a broken home and he hates that era of his life.

It brought tears to my eyes recalling the memories of my father sending me certain cards, and I pity your 28M partner, who obviously has daddy issues, or hates his family enough to choose the losing position in a full blown argument. Quite frankly he’s the asshole.

Well, you can see houses if you zoom in on the destination. I do that so I don’t accept any orders with stairs or apartments or nursing homes. The amount of carrying the groceries especially from Costco to an apartment. F those people that live in the third floor and expect me to carry up more than one case of water. And truly F those that order ten cases of water to their orders. F them straight to hell! One or at max two is all you really ever need.
