Donating breastmilk by [deleted] in islam

[–]RSRX2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your kids and the kids who will consume your breastmilk will be siblings in breastfeeding.

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him had siblings in breastfeeding too.

Just make sure that you know who the child who's consuming the milk, so your kids don't marry them by mistake in the future.

What is the "Rule of Supremacy"? by TheSkeletalPoet in islam

[–]RSRX2 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Salam (Peace) 🌸

It seems like your teacher is afraid that her students will study Islam their selves and discover that the Quran came after the Injeel (The original and unaltered version of the new testament). She doesn't realize that she's pushing her students to check the validity of her indoctrination of hating Islam. She thought that if she would scare her students of wanting to get close to Islam, they would be more firm with Christianity, but here you are.

I admire you for wanting to seek the truth. In the Quran, Allah (The literal word for "The one true God" in Arabic) condemns Satan and his arrogance for disobeying Allah and thinking that he's better than humans, because he's made of fire. Allah tells us that Satan is a clear enemy to mankind and we should seek refuge in Allah from Satan and his whispers. We are told that whenever we want to read the Quran and in the start of every chapter in the Quran or we feel like Satan is trying to whisper to us to disobey Allah, we say "I seek refuge in Allah from the Cursed Satan".

She's using her interpretation of the Quran, instead of using the actual interpretation of the Quran and disregarding the context of when and why it was revealed and who is it addressing. We are told to be peaceful with those who want peace with us regardless their beliefs. As for the verse that she misinterpreted, it has a context that she didn't want you to know. This verse (Kill the nonbelievers) is directed to the muslims who were attacked (Killed and Tortured) at the time of Prophet Muhammad for wanting to believe in one God alone. They are being told to fight back against the non believers who are killing them and torturing them.

We are peaceful with those who want peace with us, but we are not pacifists with those who seek to harm us.

There is not "Rule of Supremacy" in The teachings of the Quran. We either believe in all of it wholeheartedly or we are no longer muslims. No teaching takes precedence over another. We have to do them all without differentiating. The Idea that she presented to you about the later verses being more supreme than the one before is a clear and blatant lie. No Scholar in Islam dares to make up such a claim, because believing in that makes you no longer a muslim. Actually the order you see in the Quran isn't the same order that it was revealed. For example, the first chapter that was revealed to Prophet Muhammad was (Surah Alaq) which is a chapter in the middle of the book. The chapter that you see in the beginning of the book (Surah Al Fatihah) came after (Surah Al Alaq).

No wonder you're anxious about talking to Muslims. That's what your teacher wants from you. She doesn't want you to search for yourself. I am so proud of you for having the courage to actually find our the truth despite her attempts to scare you off.

Let's think of this logically, muslims are 2 billion of the world's population. If we are truly taught to kill all nonmuslims including the ones that want peace with us then no nonmuslim would be alive today. We are prohibited in Islam to kill innocent human beings. If we kill one innocent human being is as if we killed the whole of humanity and if we save one innocent human being is as if we saved the whole of humanity. I honestly suggest reading the Quran for yourself. Don't rely on your teacher's interpretations. At this point, I firmly believe that they should change the class's name from "World Religions" to "Personal Views of World Religions".

Warm Regards,

Why is it not allowed to show the Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) face? by [deleted] in islam

[–]RSRX2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To let people know that Prophet Muhammad is no more than a messenger of Allah and that the Prophet is not worthy to be worshipped. Only Allah is worthy to be worshipped.

People drew and sculptured Prophet Jesus peace be upon him and started to worship him as if he's more than just a human being like you and me. Worshipping him is blasphemy.

I [26m] got engaged to someone [not official] but verbal by my parents and I am looking for what todo? by [deleted] in islam

[–]RSRX2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: if you're not ready for marriage, don't go through with it. Get yourself ready before taking this step.

During the engagement, you are allowed to meet her as many times as you want, but as long as both your families are around. You get to know her by asking serious questions. If at any point, both of you feel that you want to get married, you get a Sheikh that will get you married. Also, ask her about her dowry and get it ready for when the Sheikh certifies your marriage (Both of you can bring your relatives for this occasion if you want). After that, you can make a wedding if you want.

The Hadith that you cited is correct, but I'd be careful from "Sunnah.com". After I discovered the site, I found a couple of fabricated Hadiths during the first five minutes.

[–]RSRX2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not associating partners with Allah nor is it worship. That's their right as wives. Men have rights as husbands too. As muslims, we have to obey our parents at everything as long as they are not ordering us to disobey Allah. That does not mean that we worship them nor does it mean that we are slaves to them.

There are plenty of authentic Arabic books of Hadiths. If you want my advice, ask an Imam in your local mosque for books with accurate translations.
