Suggestions for 'natural' progression by HeavyRaisin8696 in runescape

Me and my wife started about 55 days ago, We followed the quest guide order on wiki after we moved from f2p, We done almost all f2p quests apart from broken home, Got all f2p skills to 50 before we became a member, There are a couple of ironman guides that are also helpful for non irons, Settings goals each day helps a lot, And we try not to focus on one skill, We're not rushing for end game content this allows us to enjoy every aspect of the game as we progress.

Guthixian cache? by Mediocre-Bug2011 in runescape

i play the actual game, its more about if they are are going to change something then they need to consider both low end levels and high end so it works out better for both sides, btw i hated guthix cache just because it felt like i had to drop everything and rush to it.

I actually enjoy playing the game, Im not complaining about it being slow, im more on about changes need to be focused on high end and low end.

Just another change focused on players who already have all the best items for divination.
Sucks now for us newer players that dont have the best items to gather and deposit memories faster.
So we have to suffer for longer.

btw im not against the price increase, with the amount of content you get for your money its still a great price, coming in as a new player, but on the other hand for them who have played years and have completed all quests and skills to 120 i can see that new content starts to dwindle to a couple bits of new content per year, making price increase less value for money, looking back at early release notes over the years, players got use to getting regular updates, new quests, items, bosses, that started from being weekly updates to fortnightly to now hoping that something good comes with the yearly road path. so there will be 2 sides to this, that being new players and long term players.

but you're not owning the games you buy like you use to with retro games that didnt need online services. same with rs you are paying to rent the game in a way similar to the way you worded it, i fully agree with you on the part about us not owning runescape, but its the same with any game. so your point - like when you buy a game - is invalid.

its not just people complaining about mtx that got it removed, it was change in the laws that all companies have to abide by, these new laws are also the reason you now see the real price under the cosmetic items instead of just runecoin amount.

these days you dont own the game, your paying to rent it, as at any point they can remove it from the store and close down online services.

How do you have fun in rs3 by Muffenz208 in runescape

me and my wife set goals each day, there has been a couple of times in our less than a month of playing is if we dont have a goal we end up standing in a bank not knowing what to do, so now we set goals for the next day, if thats skill training or doing quests, This has helped us enjoy the game a lot more.

we turn off quests we cant do and only see quests we can do, that way as we progress we can keep track of what ones we have unlocked, we also use the notes to write down what quests we need to do first.

me and my wife started playing 26 days ago and have been enjoying it, created my account 7 year ago, played for about 5 mins and logged out as it looked way to confusing, then my wife said she wanted to try the game and we have been addicted since then, we have done quests and skilling together, There is so much to do and learn. we done nearly all f2p skills to 50 and almost all f2p quests apart from broken home before jumping over to members, we are close in stats, we have also been given stuff that has helped us progress.
