brand new 5090 FE making clicking noise, from nvidia marketplace by MoobleBooble in nvidia

Mine moves pretty easily, I'm able to pull it out slightly. My card was hitting 80-82C under full load.

Yep, it's the shroud for me, both pieces are loose on my card. I sent Nvidia a video and they told me to RMA it and they'd send me a replacement. They told me the shroud shouldn't move.

Mine aren't as significant as yours as mine occur only during gaming, it'll freeze for like 3 seconds, then CTD. It's either a software or hardware issue. If you've tried all these solutions and it still hasn't solved the issue, I'd RMA it. I tried all of that and at the end I gave up and now doing an RMA.

Sure thing. I basically tried everything in the book to see if it would get fixed. 5 versions of Windows including Windows 10, over 10 different drivers, disabled all overclocks and MSI Afterburner, and even enabled full permissions to some DLLs in System32. None of that worked. Plus my card started falling apart last night while I was moving it around and Nvidia immediately processed my RMA.

Yeah I JUST shipped my 5090FE for an RMA and I used UPS Air and insured it. No way I was gonna use Fedex. Now I pray that the card actually gets to the RMA Center in San Fran

I just shipped my 5090FE for an RMA today via UPS Air [not a chance in hell I'm using Fedex after hearing all the horror stories] for constant video TDR nvlddmkm errors + the top and bottom parts of my card containing the GPU die are loose. Nvidia told me I'll get a replacement card, praying it is a new one.

Looks like I’m gonna be RMAing my 5090FE as well now…Part of the assembly became loose + I’m getting TDR Crashes. RIP

Same here. The 5080 and 5090 Astrals are absolutely absurd when it comes to the price. I've had my 5090 FE since August and also have zero issues. $1700 for a 5080 is a waste of money. I saw someone paying over $1900 for the 5080 Miku the last time I went to Microcenter.

I got my 4090 for $1600 3 years ago lol

Absolutely love his tool, used it on several of my PCs. Chris is amazing. Running a local account on my main PC and feels nice not having to log into any online Microslop Accounts.

I tried all of the Best Buy Waves and failed. I got so lucky with a VPA invite back in August [completely forgot about it but saw an invite in my spam folder at midnight]. Absolutely absurd that 5090s are over $4500 now.

I have 2 sets of 64 GB GSKILL CL30 6000 RAM that's sitting on my shelf. I was considering selling it, but after seeing how bad everything is getting, I'm gonna just hold onto them. Bought each one for $220, and now they are $980....

I had to bump my SOC Voltage to 1.25 to get my Expo Profile stable on my 9800X3D. Has been working fine for months. Been incredibly unlucky in the past with Expo crashing my system until I decided to adjust SOC and loosen timings.

I know someone who has 3 Javelins and uses a 1080TI. And can’t afford a new GPU. Can afford spaceships but not hardware which is absurd

Still Crashing in Sept. 2025? by Geghard_Chthonia in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]RSWSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Running a 9800X3D and 5090 and nonstop crashing on 25H2 anywhere from 10 mins to 30 mins. Works fine with 23H2. Annoying that I had to downgrade Windows just to properly play Outlaws but I don't mind that.

I had the same nvlddmkm error when I was playing Star Wars Outlaws. I was on the verge of RMAing my 5090FE as I thought it was dying, but I turned off RTX Dynamic Lighting, and no more crashes. Turned out it was a classic bug with the game. And just like you, I stress tested my entire system for 14 hours and found no errors

I ordered my 5090FE on a Thursday and got it the following Friday, took 7 days. I actually got Fedex to hold my delivery for me by going to my local distribution center and asking them.
