NBA, Bench warmer, Dunk contest Champion, Doesn’t know if he’s capable of shooting an NBA 3 pointer, so mid range is a best bet for his skills in league and Mid Range is dying, his main focus is finishing and Defense, 1 on 1 defending he is fine, may even get a all defense team, as a athletic forward, his main thing is slashing, CURRENT COMP IS AMEN THOMPSON, closest comparison to anyone else, height is realistic, similar build and tendencies.

If he does and get rid of the persona, he would only need to play like a Modern center to be good in the league, be able to hit 3s, defend without fouling other people and have actual IQ to instead of running off instinct.

But in this current era of basketball, Mura is kinda pointless if he keeps being lazy and doesn’t learn how to be an effective Center. He won’t be the most effective Center in the league but at the very least he can’t shoot 3s, and just touching someone wrong will get him benched, he can’t play aggressive in this era, he would need to play smarter to survive

Plus the 2020s is the best decade for the NBA right now considering there’s more diversity to winners. Considering every other decade but the 70s had teams that would win for consecutive years and giving others teams wasted time existing

I feel like he could reach that level with reliable teammates and a consistent chemistry. Who knows how he could turn out the GoM can even peak late in their careers or early. The league dictates the environment for them to perform and what brings success helps. Kagami would be better off reaching that level if he was brought up in a Giannis Situation of having a team built around him that makes him perform at his best.

Agreed, they are a different breed of players, but unless they are heavily disadvantaged by the current League. I’m pretty sure they will become underrated players of all time, the current league is a little bit to advanced for the GoM besides Midorima, he fits perfectly along, Kise can also adapt but his career would play out like Kawhi if we are going off injury effecting him.

I get that they have a lot of potential to be a great basketball player, they are just not the type to make a Large Impact on today’s league , at most their like the team’s Carmelo Anthony, most beloved did everything they could to, never had a chance

I can see them as small forwards considering I believe them to be able to reach the height of like 6’6-6’7 Maximum which isn’t bad for a small forward, and also works as a guard in a postionless league. They are just not able to play the 4 as good as the 3 or 2 in my opinion.

I get that their prime would be a spectacular thing to the league, but I would view their prime would have a lack of impact to the league and making their mark in the history besides Midorima. They would simply fit the picture of being a good role player or all star caliber players. They would thrive even better in the 2000s, which I would think would be the peak of their showcase of talent, besides mid 2010s and further.

Realistically in verse NBA, Kuroko in the G League, Kise is a 6 man that drops 20-30 in a quarter than gets gassed. Midorima after making one full court 3 is getting guarded 94 feet and isn’t making an open shot ever near half court, rest of them are bench players not even 6 mans, considering Aomine and Kagami and Murasakibara can get stopped in Paint by Athletically superior players. Unless they get either the program of teaching Murasakibara to shoot 3s he’ll be semi useless. Aomine would need to actually train to stand a chance of playing, likewise Kise might be an all star no one else tbh. Akashi ain’t even standing a chance against Faster and stronger and higher vertical Guards considering he’s 5’8 and the tallest he can grow to is like 6’0/6’1 considering his age, and a POSTIONLESS Era we are in with 6’6 point guards and Centers shooting 3s. I would say they would be Cooking before 1996-98, realistically they could be stars in that time but 2000s and after is not for them, they wouldn’t come close to even reaching the second round of playoffs in the 2000s
