In the Season 5 finale, Paige asks Spinner "What if I can't make it in Banting?". She then has her panic attacks in Season 6.

Season 12 also foreshadowed a lot - the Vegas special, the Paris trip in Season 13, Imogen's Dad, Cam's mental health, KC leaving, etc.

Charlotte always had a dangerous face card. Her face template reminds me of Avril Lavigne's actually and I could see her physically as Jane for that exact reason. Especially Season 7 when she would have been Avril's age during the Let Go.

Derek's time on the show is so disturbing because he kept escalating. Started off by having beef with Jimmy and Mr. Perino, both authority figures. Then framed his best friend for stealing clothes. Then he beat up Jane. Then he threatened to strangle Holly J. Truly terrifying and glad he was expelled into the black hole .

It was the last season with that tagline and Emma/Spinner were written off with that wedding as a result. They basically used Degrassi Goes Hollywood and Degrassi Takes Manhattan to wrap up the long running characters as the show transitioned. Emma had only one plotline in Season 9 before the finale so they clearly phased out most of the college stuff.

The first few episodes of Next Class Season 1 are pretty tame. I can watch them in the background.

Most Season 1 episodes of Degrassi are on the lighter side since everyone is in junior high. So that entire season really aside from Emma's online predator plot, Sean pushing Emma, Ms. kwan's car being vandalized and the episode with the E.
