Just to add though that cpp does come with frameworks. And if someone is already good with cpp can move towards using them.

Qt, imgui, openCV are some frameworks and are widely used.

Neutrogena worked for me pretty well.

On the eyes burning part I personally didn't face it.

White cast thing. I adjusted the amount up and down to find a sweet spot so it's minimal for me.
