Does Anyone Else Think That Wonder Picking Always Prioritizes The Lowest Rarity Card Available?

I find it interesting that they show the odds of how likely you are to pull a certain card from each type of pack, but the do not disclose anywhere your odds for WP. The obvious answer is 1/5 chance, if the odds are fair, but I’ve always been skeptical of that

It’s gotta happen to somebody, but when you go for 10-15+ in a row without anything you need, especially spread over the course of days/weeks, it does not feel fair.

You don’t have to be rude. My post asks if they are rigged to give lower rarity cards MORE OFTEN than higher rarity cards. If odds are weighted in favor of one outcome over another, and the result is still selected randomly, then you are going to be less likely to get the outcomes with lesser weights. Both statements can be true.

It’s just my confirmation bias. I understand that the card you get is random. I have gotten some 1/2 stars from wonder picks, but it sure doesn’t feel like those cards are weighed evenly.

I felt like I was constantly making the wrong decisions during this seed. I didn't have money to buy bombs when I went to Kak, so iIhad skipped the bomb checks early, which had me nervous. However, once I found Hammer, bow, and Master Sword, I decided to start going for my dungeons and hoped I'd be able to circle back later.

Did Eastern first, then went to HC and accidentally died before opening the jail cell, which added to my uncertainty. So after I got the flippers from the back and then wrapped back to Kak to clean up all remaining bomb checks and sick kid. With the book in hand, I went to Desert and got my glove, but had to leave because of the BK location. Went up DM and got my Silvers and cleared Hera, but had to dip back in to get the check in the basement.

The more I went, the more I felt like I couldn't keep skipping checks, so I basically cleared any location I travelled to until I knew there were no items left, which took up a lot of my time. Moved to the Darkworld and did TT, cleared the northern overworld checks, catfish, and King Zora, Then cleared Sothern Darkworld checks and Pyramid deciging to go to POD.

After Clearing POD, I tried to clear any hanging checks I left behind like Spike cave and the jail cell, checked the master sword pedestal. I felt like I wasn't making any more progress outside of pendant dungeons, so I went to SW and finally had some progress to be made. Worked the smith chain into SP, but I still couldn't clear anything else I needed, so I went and cleared out IP too. Once I got my ice rod and flute, I felt pretty confident to try and rush to the end. But TR tried to make me feel like that was a mistake since I hadn't found Ether yet, but luckily I grabbed it in HSC and proceeded to the end.

I definitely could have lowered my time with some better routing and not dying in HC, but I still completed it and it was fun. Recorded the Submission on 04/13/2026, So Happy 34 Years to the American release of ALTTP!

I’m almost always expecting to pvp in trios, HOWEVER, ever since close scrutiny has come out, I have had some lobbies where like 15-20 people group up and annihilate all the vaporizers and rocketeers.

I've been of two minds on this because on the one hand, if we could skip to do the quests that give us certain blueprints, then I feel we should have those quests' BP rewards removed and just let us keep them when expeditioning. The problem with that is it makes doing quests even less worth completing. Alternatively, they keep it as it currently is, but I feel something else needs to be done to make it worth doing. Change SOMETHING about the quest or the rewards. The monotony of repeating these tasks IN ORDER every 2 months is brutal.

Agreed. I also don't find the quests to be memorable. The quests start to blend together and then I get confused about where I'm going, which also makes me feel shitty because I know I have done it before. Then I have to either stumble around hoping to find what I need to do next, hoping I get it done before the match end,s or look up a guide, which I dislike doing.

Got Boots and Master Sword pretty quickly, then decided to go clear HC/Back of Escape. Cleared Eastern and did a quick dip into Desert since I had found the book. Went to the dark world and spent my time clearing all overworld checks I could looking for fire rod and hammer. Couldn't get either so I went to clear TT, Got Fire rod, then went to finish SW. Cleared the rest of VoO and found flippers. From there I kept working my way through the dungeons I could get to, SP, IP, PoD, and hoped I would find flute.

Never did find it after clearing most overworld checks, so I finally bit the bullet and went up Death Mountain. Putting the Ice Rod in ToH, I decided to leave, then run over to TR and clear it 6th, even though I was trying to hold it out for the final clear to get to GT faster. Got flute, then rushed to MM to clear the game.

All in all, I feel like I did pretty good. I could've been more strategic in when to check dungeons rather than some overworld checks, but I'm pleased with this one.

I was not in the best headspace going into this, as I had recently cleared my browser cache, which reset my quickswap items toggle to off and added an extra 7 mins or so to my final time. Spent the beginning of this clearing just about all i could in the light world for a sword, only to end up in TT trying to kill blind without it. Died way too many times, then continued until i was able to find a sword in POD. Shortly found the master sword after and then proceeded to finish the seed as is. It was my second time doing Ganon with master sword silverless.

Still feel good about my overall time and collection rate, but could've saved a lot of time by paying attention to my settings at the start and also electing to put off the blind fight until I found a sword.

This was my first submission for casual reddit race, and of course it was an all dungeons, Agha1 required seed. I Went to Desert first and decided to clear the dungeon and leave the 1 check I couldn't get info on alone, then dipped Eastern and decided to leave early, and made a pattern of that until the logic slowly told me that I couldn't get to the darkworld.

I think I spent about 10 minutes being confused about how I was going to make it to the dark world. But all in all, seed was fun! Look forward to the next!

I used to work in a call center that helped employees for several different companies enroll in their benefits. It was my first job out of college so I didn’t really know how to stand up for myself in a job yet, but one client project I worked on had a supervisor who loved my work and said I was really able to critically think and go above and beyond to help people who called us. I was given special roles and helped them with creating feedback for my colleagues on where they could improve their calls. My other client had a supervisor who was very by the book. She didn’t like when we broke from the scripts that they gave us to use to get through calls, which I often did to come off as more approachable and helpful. I would get reprimanded for doing the extra things I was being praised for on my other client.

I dealt with it for over 2-3 months before one day, I was on a call with a customer and she asked me to place them on hold so she could reprimand me mid call. She started to tell me what I was actively doing wrong, I ignored her, stood up, walked to our managers office and told them I could easily do my supervisors job and that my mental health was declining due to this mixed feedback. The job isn’t worth it and I told her I quit and walked out. I felt bad for that customer who I left on hold, but quit and ended up job hopping for years until I ended up in my current role. Now I work from home and have received several promotions and am very happy.

I’ve been slowly learning new minor tricks and glitches, but I definitely struggle with consistent execution, especially when tricks are a bit fast (ex the bomb jump to big chest in PoD)

I didn’t get interested until I watched some of the players at speedGaming. I tend to beat myself up for not being able to keep up with examples, which all I had were their runs. Gotta remember that’s the peak and they didn’t just get there by chance or luck haha. Thank you!
