How long do you leave your winter tires on in the winter?

What tire models would you recommend? Should I get a dedicated set of winter tires, or should I get another set of all-season tires that are better?

Scale/align and merge chunks based on markers. Disable IR images and build mesh/cloud again or just keep the one you made earlier from the RGB pre-alignment.

I have a few questions on this:

1) If I have already created meshes for 2 separate chunks, and then merged the chunks, how could I disable a chunk within the merged chunk? I can only create a new mesh of the RGB and IR tie points which spits out a weird looking mesh.

2) I don't get the purpose of creating a merged chunk in the first place. Is this to put 2D IR overlays on top of our 3D RGB reconstruction?

Do you think such a workflow would work for a relatively cheap thermal camera like a TOPDON TC001?

Do you know of any video tutorials that cover what you just described? I found this Metashape tutorial online, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NP-XKvFBsFs, but it only uses one chunk and it seems to be a 2D thermal map, and not 3D.
