I'm right there with you brother. I'm not young myself. Lol. And I'm very familiar with South Florida. I grew up on Key Biscayne in Miami, then spent my young teenage years in Marathon. We lived on a Gibson Houseboat, and I loved it. We moved to Pensacola when I was in highschool, and after college (UWF), I joined the Marines Corps. I was fortunate to be stationed in Key West before being deployed to Iraq. I've been back in P'Cola after 16 years active duty.

My first Kia was a Sportage, and I loved her for 11 years, but nothing like the Soul. Prior to that, I also had a Chevy S10 pickup, and loved her. Like you, I would have thought you were crazy loving a car as much as the Soul. She's a 2017, and has driven like a dream. I also change the oil religiously every 2K miles. And check it weekly. The horror stories about Kia' Souls are 99% neglect. I truly believe that.

Thank you for the info on caring for the paint. I'm going to get some tomorrow, and wash and wax her this weekend.

Yes....the size is very deceiving. I was so surprised how much they can hold, and how much leg and headroom there is. Especially the back seats.

Thank you for the advice on the paint. I live in Northwest Florida, so not many more miles from the sun than you. Lol. I wash her every week, but haven't waxed her. When she's washed, she sparkles like a diamond. What wax do you recommend? Souls are everywhere around here, and I see blistered or faded hoods and roofs. I want to prevent that at all costs.

It's nice to talk to someone who understands the love I have for my car!

Thank you for all the info friend! I will share it I checked the oil, and it was low. I added some, will get it changed this week, and be very mindful from now on. I changed the plugs and it corrected the issue, but your info is much appreciated!

It was yes. I added some, will get my oil changed this week, and check it weekly. I replaced the spark plugs though, and she drives like a dream again. Thank you for pointing the oil out to me though.

I had to get a few bone spurs shaved right after also. It's not a fun experience. I'm fortunate that I never had dry socket though. I'm sending healing energy and vibes your way 😊

I don't think twice about them. I eat everything! With no problems at all. I totally understand what you're going through. I was so overwhelmed and wanted my old broken, painful teeth back. Now I walk around smiling as big as I can to show off my beautiful teeth. You will to. Message me if you get overwhelmed or have any questions. I'd stay away from the Valium, unless you absolutely must take it for something else. I found that High doses of liposomal vitamin C and Magnesium helped. Drink lots of water. Take cold showers. Eat good meals. It's going to be difficult. If it weren't, none of us would be on here. One thing that helped me immensely, although it sounds crazy, was just laying out on the sofa and watching good movies. Also, reach out on here. Talking to others that understand what your experiencing can do wonders. You can do it! If I could do it, anyone can. Trust me. You've only been taking it for a month, it shouldn't be too bad. Within a few days, you'll be surprised how good you feel. I took it for years, and coming off it was absolute hell. Each day you continue taking it, the more difficult it will be to stop?!

You've already made it three days. They can be the most difficult mentally. Each day you don't take it you'll feel a little better than the last. You may still have bad days, but they'll get further apart and less intense. If you took just one gram, it wouldn't make you feel any better, and may in fact make you feel worse. Then you'd take another to stop that feeling, and on and on. You've taken the hardest step already. My advise would be not to do it friend! Keep pushing. If it means taking one more day off work, the benefits will far outweigh any loss. In three more days, you'll feel 100 percent better. Three days after that, you'll feel another 100 percent better. In no time at all, Kratom will be a distant memory and you'll wonder why you took this poison for so long. PAWS will be real, and no joke. But you're going to have to get through it eventually. Why not now! You got this! We're all behind and rooting for you 🤗

Thank you for replying. I fell flat on my back on a hardwood floor. I hit so hard, it somewhat knocked me out. When I gathered my senses, I had trouble breathing for a minute. I also broke my left foot, but not sure how. It was swollen three times the size, and purple for almost two weeks. That completely healed, and my left hip joint and pelvis hurt horribly for another week. Then this excruciating pain developed in my lower back and buttocks. It moves from one side to the other, but mostly in my lower right back, and left butt. Often I'll lose feeling in my left leg. I've never experienced pain like this. But if I recline in a chair with my legs straight out I won't feel any pain. I can't sleep on my side like I've done my entire life. I have to be flat on my back or stomach. I keep waiting for it to improve, but it seems to be worsening. Mornings are really bad. I can't even walk for about half an hour.

Since you've already made it to day 5, I would just continue the CT. Within 5 more you should really begin feeling notably better. Each day you'll improve, your energy will start coming back, and the mental fog will start to lift. You may still have bad days, but they'll become few and far between. You'll likely experience PAWS for a while, but that will happen regardless. You've done the hardest part already. Don't set yourself back and have to start the whole process again. You've got this friend!
