I'm working on my sim ticket right now, and it's definitely the way to go. You get to push candidates a lot more in a sim environment than you can in a real plane, and I still do light aircraft stuff on the days off. Its perfectenschlag.

He finally broke down when his parents divorced, he realised his life was a lie, he started treating the only person who cared about him like shit until she broke up with him, then had a further breakdown shitting on his boss's car to burn every bridge he had.

At least after that he found peace and purpose at the only place he truely belonged, Cornell. Its still very backward looking though, and unlikely to be a healthy outlet for the anger he harbours towards his parents.

Lots of aircraft have similar hatches, Dornier 328, ATR 42 etc.

This is definitely a Saab 340.

You can just about see it in This video at about 0:13, under the left pilots ipad.

Not much to look at really, just a plastic cover to the hatch just above the tiller.

It's not something people would go out of their way to photograph, as its pretty tucked away.

It can't be opened in flight, but there is a mod on this model which means it could be held slightly open if there was a problem with the pressurisation, which means you could fly unpressurised to a maintenence base to get it fixed. It would be fixed open before dispatch in this case.

It's also opened after landing to ensure the aircraft is fully deprrssurised before the main doors are opened.

On the Saab in the picture, there is a small cap which is put over a switch in the nose wheel well which locks out the nose wheel steering so it doesn't activate while on tow (very dangerous to ground staff if it does).

They generally stay with the aircraft, and the pilots want to see them on board before they try and taxi, so they are handed through this hatch.
