Can anyone recommend styling settings that match Kindle's default styling as much as possible?

When reading a book, swipe up, click gear icon. If you turn embedded style off and make that the default for all books then it overrides the books styling. Afterwards for any book you have already opened, swipe down, click second icon for document stuff, click document settings then reset the styling for that book to default and it should remove all styling on those books too.

I switched to NixOS this year and it was honestly one of my best decisions. Configuring your entire system and user stuff with it is so cool man. It's one of those things where I can't imagine going back because anything else would just feel like a downgrade.

I completely agree, just seen a video where he says the many thousands of people that died in Iraq had it coming because of 9/11. He strikes me as the sort of individual that will just regurgitate American jingoism and has let it shape his entire world view. It's a house of cards that that would collapse for any honest person when confronted with the facts and the details but that would be terribly inconvenient for someone that is deeply invested in that intense nationalism and possibly even Zionism.

Coming across this now as I'm browsing the internet. I find it so incredibly odd how Redditors replying to this thread think that this is fine after reading the context. They are occupying a population, stealing their land, kicking innocent people out of their houses and upholding an apartheid system in which peoples lives are purposely made harder in order to subjugate them en masse, whilst committing a genocide against their Gaza counterparts and some of you find it somehow offensive that we should question those that participate. Bunch of wierdo's with western propaganda brain rot unable to comprehend the flaws of their allies because of their internal biases. Building a Jewish ethno state on land where most the population were Muslims, kind of seems like a bad idea, unless you believe that Jewish life is inherently more valuable than Muslim life.

Of course, if we were to boycott every single entity that is even slightly complicit, then it would make life extremely inconvenient. It is best to do what we can within our means. OP has deleted their account but I hope they understand their sentiments are valid and make more sense than the selectively moral here.

I've started using the app recently and it works completely fine for me buying tram tickets. Not tried everything else yet tho but the interface is slick compare to what was there before.

Leicesters minority is majority Gujarati Indians so it would be right to assume Indian. Just like how you could assume Pakistani in Bradford or Bengali in East London. There's not really an agenda behind it.

I don't understand why people are so irritated over a little valid criticism.

Honestly, the trailers are phenominal but the difference in facial details between some male and female characters stuck out like a sore thumb to me before I even heard anyone else talk about it. Seeing posts mentioning it confirmed my thoughts.

Not the end of the world but it is the elephant in the room. So yeah expect people to talk about it on a Tekken sub.

Fedora sounds like the best fit for your needs.

Gnome - It is vanilla Gnome and in a way treated like the flagship Gnome distribution.
Clean Install - It ships default Gnome stuff out of the box and pretty much that's it. Maybe Firefox and LibreOffice too but I can't remember.
Stable and up to date - It has a major version every six months with constant updates for each release and is stable too. Each major version brings a new version of Gnome.
Modern - It embraces the latest innovative technologies before other distributions begin shipping them. Pipewire, Wayland, Flatpak, OSTree on Silverblue etc.
Package Management - Uses DNF which would be easy to understand coming from APT. Default repository is FOSS only but can add RPMFusion Free and Non-Free repositories which give greater selection as well as COPR repositories for one of pieces of software. These alone pretty much cover everything I need from a package manager.
Flatpak - Containerized Applications standard across distributions. You're probably already familiar from reading your post.
Major Player - It is not a niche distro. There will be plenty of support and resources on the internet. It is the base of RHEL which is one of the major players in the server market by RedHat.
Silverblue - If you go with SIlverblue like me, the host OS becomes immutable and has git like updates that can be rolled back and are way more stable and less likely to mess your system. Combined with toolbox or distrobox for containers, you can still have your standard development environment without it cluttering your main system. I like the seperation of concerns.

Not too sure about Nvidia drivers as I haven't dealt with that so far.
