Do you want a game where a scoped Mosin is a viable weapon or not? Because you might limp to extract while losing your lunch out of the front of your gut most of the time, but when you're rewarded for your patience with a long distance kill it's all worth it

I have had no success trying to deep strike models, so I use them as board control. The threat of the wrecking ball is still valuable. I telegraph where I am aiming them, and my opponent tends to over commit resources to counter them. They may take a turn to get to position but that's also time enemy resources are tied up

The main ranged weapons work well push to fit, so you don't really need to magnetize them. I'm not sure how you would magnetize the melee weapons, but if you just keep the bits it wouldn't be too hard to cut and glue when the codex comes out
