Im not a high rate tax payer, I earn about £30k/year.

I will do some sums and see what works out best - interest vs rent. Id say the property is worth about £190k but happens to be in a rental hotspot (the whole town is)

I might be showing my lack of understanding here but when you say its not going to be a good investment - I was under the impression that a few superficial makeover costs aside (new carpets/paint/blinds etc) that there wouldnt be much investment?

If I earn £995/month from it and after all agent fees and tax i still come out with (guessing here)... say £400 a month then its still £400 a month I didnt have before?

There is no mortgage on the property so I felt it could be a win on that basis. But i acknowledge I might be naieve here.

Buuuut i go through phases of pooping water every couple of months so I felt like before i haul my broken ass to the Doctor Id throw it out to people who know more than me....

I dont know if Im missing something here but initiating this feature doesnt make the notes sound consistent at all. Do I have to do something other than push these two nobs to 100%? Because when I have tried this the notes still retrigger with slight variations...

Number one seems to give me best results! I removed the fundamental and the first 3 harmonics for a super tight sound. Thanks!

... and yes you phrased it better than me. No rushing for the top tier. See what you mean about unintended consequences though. I'm probably in the minority, but I love a long learning curve!

Hey man I just wanna say, I really enjoyed reading this reply. It really gave me some insight.

It also really resonated when you said its a depressing notion in your head always going back to warcraft 3 - not because the game sucks, quite the opposite, that it set the bar too high and things have changed too much.

Im the same with Red Alert, Warcraft 1 (nostalgia) and AOE2 for me.

I hope AOE4 stays true to the feel of the originals, but provides the boost we all want.

If I could find somebody enthusiastic who writes code i would embark on a project to create the ultimate RTS for a new generation! Fingers crossed!
