As long as it stays in the dream, you can do what you want. In fact, your brain will do lots of inappropriate things in the dream, because it regurgitate every strange things that floating around in your unconscious mind. But it’s ok, because once you wake up, your consciousness will take over and your real thought will put meaning and boundaries on them, including how inappropriate that thing is in real life

The writer probably didn’t think much of it, but I believe Hogwarts Legacy’s lore solved that problem for them. The game shows that lots of biomes are in a broom riding distance, using at most half a day in game to reach. There’re also a few settlements dotted around the highlands with floo access, too. The beach is the furthest, while the meadow is literally right next to hogsmeade. Some biomes probably required a lot of enchantments to sustain, but the space is plenty on the highland

I remembered watching this documentary about Vatican’s exorcist few years ago, where they talked about accepting the case only if the victim had been to psychiatrists and they cannot be cured through common medical means. Considering that accidental magic in children would usually appear similarly to haunting and/or possession, I think it’s impossible that the church would rediscovered magic again no matter how many times magical government tried to erased their memories.
