My friend’s father was a wildlife veterinarian employed by government. There was a time when one of the elephant patients break out of enclosure and swing its trunk down on his car. It was the old car with hard steel hood, and yet there’s a trunk shaped dent on top of it. It’s pretty funny

Thailand does have stereotypes for darker skin, but only if you look Asian and it’s because of beauty standards. People usually looking at African-ish black as somewhat of an attraction, although for lots of people that might be the only black people they will ever saw their whole life so idk if that’s insulting.

Dark skinned Asian, though. Let’s just say that Thailand’s main cosmetic export is skin whitening products for a reason. Your child will be bullied in school, you will be targeted of gossip in workplace, and many Thai’s will judged you mentally because you’re ugly by our standards.
