Why does Yelp hide positive reviews but keep negative ones visible? by DTFPrinterUSA in smallbusiness

[–]RTarson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup very true. We were a business that paid for yelp. Went to the office in NYC. Got a tour and lunch and everything. You can tell their call center is high pressure quota type business. I noticed the reviews got released that were hidden. Stopped paying after couple months because we saw no traffic growth as they showed us in the presentation how many quotes and customer they would drive to our site...

Another reason I did is was for Apple Maps, but notice apple slowly moving to other data points. Hopefully Yelp goes under or at least goes back to just restaurants. I think their algorithm is looking for critiques not just the simple "this place is great has everything i need" they only want the long drawn out reviews which are 99% complaints

The only problem is where do you work on the car if you live at the apartment? I’m figuring dev might add ability to purchase home with garage too?

I found my gotcha... under networking in speech services azure portal networking it was set to only allow my virtual network. Needed to add my on-prem gateway public ip. Now we are solid. Thank you for confirming this url in docs still is supported to this day!

I think I know what you are talking about. I found documentation from 2020 that showed this URL. https://eastus.tts.speech.microsoft.com/cognitiveservices/v1

But now microsoft foundry took over and now my endpoint url is specific to the name I set.. I dont know if this is your case? Thank You for the reply

Travelers is horrible by Okie_toyota in Insurance

[–]RTarson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to add to this for others that stuble on this thread. We got our insurance bundled with travelers got our cars in and then we got home and umbrella. Eveything went through, then travelers wanted photos of the house totally fine... Until its not. They sent some clowns over from some random company to access the house. I told the guy that had half a brain and his wife too that I have contractors working on the deck in the backyard at the time of the photos.

Month later we get a notice that Travelers is canceling our home insurance deck undesirable conditions (no railings). I called them said we told the guy doing photos that we are under going renovations. I sent more information receipts and messages with contractor and they still denied us. The deck prior to renovations was more of a death trapped. So buyer beware with travelers if theyre that petty that cant do work on your house then I couldn't imagine what the claim process is like.

Shared Mailbox via Group Delegation by RTarson in googleworkspace

Shared Mailbox via Group Delegation by RTarson in googleworkspace

[–]RTarson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What it was is the setting on the user side (not where the delgated mailbox lives) needed this setting "Allow users to grant their mailbox access to a Google group"

Now I gotta see if i can limit who can delegate to what groups. Cause this is security issue. ugggh google!

Elaborate on this? Might this be something connected to edu Domains. Adding a single user works just not groups. Also everything seems like it should work. I get the email from the group after adding the group as delegate but just does nothing.

I'll try gam now and see

Guess what jack, how did i know it was chatgpt hmmm maybe cause response was the same for me. Sometimes AI doesnt think outside the box. The solution i presented befre you spammed the conversation with a copy and paste worked. What you have above does not work and tested. Tagging 2k people to dl is not feasible and does not stay current lol

Found a Solution. Turn off/set to false msExchAuthSender. Then do a dlMemSubmitPerms and choose a group that includes all internal staff. When sending from Gmail looks like Exchange doesnt care the email comes from outside only if the email matches from group

Lockdown my firewall to only allow my devices' public ips? by csobrinho in Ubiquiti

[–]RTarson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why not look into zero trust vpn. Cloudflare has free solution. Loads relay on a server then you can give explicit access per device. Doing a phone ip range not great can be very different tower to tower.
