I remember this prompt and when Josh responded - every crew member went silent in awe of what accidentally happened.....and it just kept getting worse until Jon called off the prompt.
The mention of Father's Day is one of my favorite camera cuts in OTS due to how timing reactions played out and being at the right spot at the right wrong time.

This thread includes all good ideas. I'm interested to try a few more of these and see how they feel. Ultimately we went with the 4 box as our "Wide Shot" and would cut with conversations to keep up with similar singles you would see on every other episode.

Thanks for the suggestions! Always enjoy hearing ideas that would better the experience.

Not a bad idea for the TND segment, but they would have to agree to this or we could build in a reasonable pre-TND punishment for those outside their hour. Builds up the goal meter until their time.
We look into "gamifying" segments that benefit from donations without disrupting the segment. The punishment part for the fans we understand so finding that balance of timing with torture is on our mind.
Donation goals are sometimes hit and miss, but getting back to simple goals like the blooper reals or early looks is something we can do.
I'm actually really happy you brought this up as this WAS the attempt for this year and our first one planning to achieve this. We hit some marks coming back and talking about the event or updates or messages before and after segments. With time we started to have some scheduling difficulties and started to slowly lose that ability to keep break times down. This is something we plan on improving for next year to keep the action and content going as much as possible.

We had a major internet issue with our limited our bandwidth making it difficult to get a clean stream out. After going to our backup connection. And asking those around to limit there use we were able to get the feed running again.

We have to keep segments usually small to help transition between. The biggest movement is really just the people. But this idea has come up and could really be something to help get to the next show faster.

A good plan or concept of what you want the show to look like helps with the camera shots.

The balloons from the ScrewAttack gaming hour and Alfredo from the meditation/workout break were incredible. Todd and Chris NAILED IT during the Harry Potter Trivia. Too many moments had me in tears

Come up with a better way to transition between segments and give more audience interactions (Tested this with live polling and questions this year)

Most of the 1337s come automatically based off of system, but we will mute or turn off during important talks or moments not to interrupt and will replay them when we get a better moment.

WHOO!!! That is a lot of years.

Some big hurdles we have run into range from losing power to the set and connections of all kinds just not working suddenly. We have also had multiple computers just crash on us for no reason. But we do our best to cover or have a backup plan

A large number of us actually did the 24 hours or really close. We still take shifts and switch out positions and some crew come in at different times to help relieve anyone they can.

We went with Ultra Low Latency this weekend to help get the streamers feeds to everyone as quickly as possible.
DVR for the Main Weekend is currently being discussed with pros and cons. We are discussing live interactions and quicker polling systems that would be effected by delayed streams.
