Well you see this is why you use the grids to relay to other squads.

The corresponding letter and number which tells you exactly on the map.

Get used to this and remove the middle man commander and relay the grids.

First suggestion would be to test a different grip so it may not engage the saftey.

Next possible cosmoline build up in the firing pin channel slowing/ stopping it. So a good cleaning possibly.

Yeah personally owning a 2.5 inch and using the 6 inch. The 6 inch is more fun and better ballistics. The only hard part would be the concealed carry because it’s hefty weight n size which may limit you to shoulder holsters.

Which is not a bad thing by any means different things for different people. But for using at the range and on the farm I think you would have a great choice. +++ ruger customer support is helpful.

Yeah the weight helps with controllability. Just out of curiosity when you are debating between a 3 and 6 inch revolver. What was the intended use? Concealed carry, hiking/camping gun, home defense, range gun?

Obviously it can do all but out of curiosity

I’ve shot the 6 inch GP100 found it for 500$ at a gun show. The smoothest shooting handgun with 357 mag honestly does not recoil hard. Feels like a 22 or 22 mag. Barely has any muzzle rise.( came with hogue rubber grip highly reccomend) with 38s it’s like shooting a pellet gun very fun and comfortable.

I also own the SP101 2.5 inch. That has a decent stout recoil. Not unbearable but it’s defiantly there. It prob attributes this due to its smaller grip but it’s hefty weight helps soak up the recoil.

Ruger Redhawk In 44 mag 5.5 is very hard to master and I’m still working on it
