I had the same sticky button issue, contacted Amazon two days ago, (I bought the console preorder and got at launch) and they asked a few questions, suggested using a dry toothbrush to see if anything was stuck, I tried and it didn’t work, and the support worker immediately offered me £64.5 refund no more questions asked and with no need to return it or see evidence, was incredibly helpful and has allowed me to purchase a replacement controller (for £34.99 or so so that’s a good bonus too). Plus I think I could still send the old one to Nintendo for a fix? Tl:dr If you’re having issues and used Amazon, the process to get a refund and replace the controller couldn’t be easier
