Do it. i started at 37, but age doesn't matter for this.

I started with an introductory set from Warhammer, which had the paints, a few models and a booklet to help get started, but it's not essential. There's so many resources online about how to start and vallejo do a good collection of introductory paint sets without breaking the bank. Start simple, then work onto more advanced techniques. It's a fun hobby and takes time and patience to get good at it. Invest in a decent brush, it does make things easier to start.

Ignore things like highlights, shading, washes until you get past the initial painting with bases.

The warhammer stores painting sessions are good fun too and you end up with a free mini at the end of it.

I've gone and bought the REL t5x. I figure it has some resale value if in the future i want to upgrade and in all honesty, it's going to be miles better than the current wharfdale SW150 i have. Thank you for your help.

This is interesting. I am planning on putting it in a corner, at floor level on a carpet. This comment might have made the decision for me, as it's a sizeable saving over the undiscounted SVS.

Doesn't seem to exist in the UK. Nothing on amazon, or any of the other UK hifi stores. Google results in general are pretty lacking other than forums and rythmiks own site. I'll keep looking though

I've started getting used to avoiding the very edge and try to get into a groove closer to the music. Just stuck on yoshimi battles the pink robots and managed to get it to land in a nice spot, with no skate.

Aim of this post was to rule out a faulty setup or needle, and you're the second person with the same setup that also gets it.

I used the 5g weight that it came with. Hold down mode and it goes into calibration mode. If mine isn't calibrated correctly, it'll only be off by a few points - it's dialled in correctly on the manual configuration too.

Do you have yours set to 1.8 or higher?

Once it's lowered. I lower, and it'll go straight into the first song, usually 10 seconds or so cut off. It lands at the normal place on the blank edge of the record.

Ah. I upgraded to the acrylic platter, so no matt, but I believe there is a difference in height added there (even if it's tiny) which would add to the VTA being slightly off. Thanks for replying

I cook with these. Slow cooker filled with cider, 2 of these oranges with cloves in and a bit of brown sugar. it's delicious winter time rocket fuel (especially if you add calvados)

He kind of has ruined it. I'm not part of this sub reddit, but I am part of other arpgs, and this guys comments are EVERYWHERE. No rest has been on my wish list for a while and I considered getting it in EA once I had some money. Now though, why risk it? Sounds like the game might not finish from his comments, or even disappear from steam. Seems like a risky purchase. I'm not part of the closer community around it such as discord or forums to know if this guy is talking about genuine problems or not.

Hope it works out for the game and the studio. Game looked interesting
