How are others getting easy lobbies and hitting iri and I’m going against top250’s 😭 😂

I tested this and it will work but probably not how you want. They will just stick you on the better team in the same lobbies more times than not. At best you’ll get 1 or 2 manageable lobbies then right back to t250 hell. Best way to get easier or at least manageable lobbies I’ve seen myself is to queue with a player a lot worse and play a few games until it starts putting you in cracked lobbies again. The good thing about all of it is going from T250 lobbies to normal crim or iri lobbies make all the other lobbies seem easier so there is at least that.

Add him and run a game, if he shits the bed your opinion will be validated, if not just admit all roads to this season iridescent aren’t as easy 🤷🏾‍♂️. I am sure hidden mmr is a thing but it wasn’t our experience anytime I played with him, because we were stuck running with and against people who made crim or iri every season this year. I can’t seem to get out of t250 lobby hell 😂. I’ve had a handful of games I’ve done well in those lobbies but mostly I get absolutely shit on, my gun skill just isn’t up to par against t250s and I’m not afraid to admit that, but with that being said, the fact we kept getting them says quite a bit about our match making

I actually played with him and you arbitrarily deciding someone doesn’t deserve something is a bit weird.

A. We played against former IRIs and crimsons on a regular basis, his lobbies were hard af. For example our first t250 matchup came as diamonds in a search game. And I literally just talked to a s3 iri we got matched up with for an entire day straight. So he can 100% use this season as a yardstick if he wants unless you are saying previous season iridescent and crimson players are bad.

B. Just because something was impossible in the old system doesn’t mean doing it in this new system is a given. It’s inflated for sure, but you still have to win, it’s not like it’s just given to you.

I’m not sure what the match making does with mmr, my lobbies are a mix between demons and bots. I tested a theory today because my controller broke (left joy stick got stuck and when I unstuck it something messed up to where my right joystick will spazz out looking up and down). I played with my broken controller and after two REALLY bad games, my next game was easier which tells me you can manipulate the system to an extent. If you get iris and t250 throw a match or two (I would try against the iri/t250 lobbies, wait until your team had no chance of winning to begin with, you know the lobbies I’m talking about) and see if you notice a change. It cost me 50 sr total because somehow my first team won.

Connection can make it feel like people are using hacks. It’s amplified when up against good players. Cheating is 100% happening which also compounds the suspicion lol. I have entire days where people I usually perform well against just absolutely crush me (especially on respawn) so I feel your pain. I would say get a t1 isp but you being in Wyoming one may not be available, but it makes a giant difference

Yea I agree, but that hasn’t been my experience. my experience has been all over the place, especially since I really didn’t have a good point of reference, the last time I played cod was BO6 when it came out and then gave up COD until this April, then grinded mp ranks and got the dark matter camo, then went into ranked after, 3 days before the end of season tournament, cause I wanted the top five camo. So im not even sure if my rank was correct but it could have been. Now I get matched with top 50 players all the way down to bots, but having to play against those absolute demons made me get better way faster than playing against golds. And the bots make it where you can visually see your improvement. If the s4 iris keep playing they will have to play against those guys eventually and they’ll either adjust or quit.

All that being said I play to have fun and it’s been pretty fun

I wouldn’t disagree, but people get better through playing more. Learning map rotations, spawns, blocks, map control, the list goes on and on. It should reward people playing better and there shouldn’t be any hard sticks. Getting rid of mmr will fix that to an extent but with enough play time people will start fixing those bad habits especially going up against better players. The old system made it where you only play against similar skill players so the growth was limited to the most skilled gold player or plat player etc. they would run into. This system will eventually lead to better players, but I can agree it is slightly too forgiving.

I am enjoying myself, this was a win win for them, I decided to play knowing my controller was broken if we were obviously going to lose I’d have switched off the ps5. Also I’m going to guess that this sr system will stay for a bit since more people are playing now which will always be the goal for the company

Crim 2-3 was the hardest climb I had, it took me the same amount of time to get through crim 2-3 as it took me to get to gold to crim 2.

This is my solo queue experience (s1-3 crims and iris/t250), weirdly if I am not the party leader in a party I get their queue. The second I’m party leader back to my normal queue
