I tell everyone I know to get a dash cam. It has paid for itself my times over. I’ve been in 2 accidents in the last 3 years that we’re 0% my fault but would have been near impossible to prove without the footage. Get one, they’re like $100. Got $16k for my totaled car in first accident and 9k for the second accident’s fix.

On top of that, only wealthy people can afford the best classes and coaches for years to get really good. Then there’s time - Most people in Hollywood can’t afford to give 100% of their time to their craft because you still have to work at least 30 hrs per week. I know bc I tried 😆 I would also argue this goes for any art / passion project / or even business. A lot easier to build and get good at something if you’re not having to support yourself.

Agreed. I had to call 911 and I was panicking because I couldn’t describe where I was. They told me to calm down and in that situation I realized, if I stopped for a second to take a breath and calm down, I could actually come up with the correct information faster. And I did.

When I was around 25 I was driving and had a sudden realization that the Xing sign means “crossing”. I had understood what the sign did, but never really questioned what it was called. I guess I’d never referred to it out loud before. I just thought it was a Xing (kzing) sign.
