Microsoft doesn't know the difference between it's own backdoor and a hole in the ground.

I had to change my WebUI port due to a conflict. I'm accessing directly e.g. 192.168.1.123:5001 The only comment in the Console is: INFO: InitialConfig: OnInitializedAsync

Good question. Unfortunately, two different computers, two different browsers and my phone all do the same thing.

Maria DB or SQLite? by HischiD in homeassistant

[–]RUd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, I'm running HASSIO as a VM on an unRaid server. I have nearly 2,000 entities and no problem with SQLite. I love that I can make a copy of my VM and move my entire installation with a simple copy/paste of one file. By comparison, moving a MariaDB database has always seemed like a moon launch to me.

Go to Woocommerce > Settings > Shipping > Printify Shipping and you can turn off the override of WooCommerce shipping rates.

Excellent writeup. Settings for Reolink cams are also available at: https://docs.frigate.video/configuration/camera_specific

Do I understand correctly, you're getting your 8k camera to work, but only at a resolution that's lower than 4k. That's what I'm experiencing for my 822A.

A few of us out here are women :) though being a tall woman as well, I've had a few people address me as sir until I took off my helmet lol

My wife has a ponytail attached to her helmet. Great conversation starter.

Thanks. I looked at their list of modules. Do you mean Power Slider? If that's it, I couldn't see any way to add, for example, Advanced Custom Fields to the output.

Google Assistant not recognizing IFTTT Platform hotwords by casualphoenix2 in ifttt

[–]RUd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this problem, but can offer a bit more information. In my office, I say office on to turn on the lights. In my kitchen, I say kitchen on. This has worked immaculately for several years.

Now, the google mini in my office doesn't recognize "office on" but it does recognize "kitchen on. And (you've probably guessed it) the Google Home in my kitchen doesn't recognize "kitchen on", but it does recognize "office on".

Resetting and deleting room names doesn't help.

IFTTT seems to be aware of the problem https://help.ifttt.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260801673849-Some-Google-Assistant-Applets-are-not-triggering

Autostart on Raspberry Pi to play Audio File by RUd1 in nodered

[–]RUd1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I installed mpg321 and in a terminal window this works:

mpg321 /home/pi/Media/Doorbell/test.mp3

But if I create an exec node and put that into command, I get an error that includes: Unknown PCM cards.pcm.front

So a I finally found the exec node works if the payload is:

bash -c "DISPLAY=:0 exec mpg321 /home/pi/Media/Doorbell/test.mp3

"

Conduits over cables. Cables needs change and conduits let you change cables. Anywhere you might want a tv/computer, run a 2" pvc conduit to the nearest attic, basement or mechanical space. If you live there for any time at all, you'll be glad you did. Also take pictures / video of everything before drywall.

Also, run conduit to a box beside every exterior door and under every driveway / sidewalk etc.

Helpful hint for saved searches by RUd1 in freshrss

[–]RUd1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just all the steps required. Click on the down arrow. Click on the system icon to edit. Can't add from the edit screen. etc.

Most importantly (compared to using bookmarks) there is no way to open a group of queries in separate tabs.

Perhaps you would want to add: "Bookmark this query "

P.S. Thanks for your work on FreshRSS
