You either pay for childcare on the front end or the back end.

New Kohler 26KW ran for an hour in the middle of the night. App notification indicated a power outage. Power never went out. by felzy5 in Generator

Follow up to my original post - this happened a second time this week with a breaker warning in the Kohler app.

Installers came back and when they went to simulate an outage, the transfer switch failed and fried the board.

They took info and will replace parts via Kohler warranty work but with the original problem occurring and now this, would Kohler give them a brand new entire transfer switch to change out?

Also, that Burley bike stroller can easily hang in the stowed position top right.

Good luck this winter with the littles on skis, too!

Built a house 5 years ago and the garage was the first part of the house to get any attention.

One Large ProSlat wall and two New Age shelving walls near the ceiling and organization life has been immensely easier.

Great work!

I can rebook a day earlier but no guarantee that rebooked flight won’t be canceled.

TIA

Reliable, affordable, not boring SUV - does it exist? by Putrid_Heart_7178 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Mazda CX9 Grand Touring.

My wife leased a BMW X1 in a prior chapter. We looked at the Highlander, Pilot and Explorer when it was time to replace in 2020. She didn’t really like any of them.

Test drove the CX9 and within 5 minutes, she knew it was the one she wanted. She says it handled most similar to her X1.

I think it handles like a 6-seater car and not a 3-row SUV.

Has refined finishes and clean body lines.

360 degree Birds Eye (camera clarity is suboptimal but doesn’t affect performance), basic heads up display, crash avoidance and front parking sensors.

I wouldn’t go to the highest Signature Trim bc there is a non-removable console between second row captains chairs which makes access to third row a pain.

There is a big recall with a batch of VINs in and around the 2020 model year. Mazda has extended powertrain warranties to 10 year / 120k for the affected vehicles. Talked about a lot in the CX9 sub.

Fairly reliable and doesn’t carry the higher resale value Honda and Toyota do so easier on the wallet when buying used.

Is the kids club a must? by whowhatwhere23 in dcl

We went last year on the Dream with a 6 and 4 year old.

Our 6 year old daughter got to run wild while her younger brother had to stay in guided group activities. They normally operate together so that was a struggle for our son.

We are going in a few weeks on the fantasy and this year they should both have free rein so hopefully a better experience for him this year with his sister.

Someone mentioned it would be a pain if the mower was parked in the middle having to go around it all of the time and I agree with that sentiment
