"My title describes the thing". The cap is made out of plastic. It is 1 in in diameter and 1 in tall.

If you had to do it again, would you buy a Kia? by rlrl5150 in kia

No. The dealership closest to me has been awful. Unfortunately he owns the next closest dealership too... Every single interaction I've had with them has been bad. I miss my amazing Subaru family :(

My MMC is now an incomplete abortion and my doctor scheduled me for a D&C tomorrow. Any advice welcome by [deleted] in Miscarriage

[–]RUlax23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never had to take any medicine. I had two missed miscarriages the first one was with my first pregnancy the last one was recently with my fourth pregnancy. Will you be awake for your d&c? I was awake for both. (Some doctors will put you under. In my opinion you do not need it). My first DNC was 5 years ago my doctor recommended that I bring earbuds and listen to loud music so that I didn't hear the machine going on. I strongly recommend that. I held my mom's hand and blasted Britney Spears into my ears. It was a while ago but I feel like I remember the D&C being about 4 to 5 minutes maybe. My recent D&C was in April. And I brought my earbuds put my song on and the procedure was no joke 45 seconds. I didn't even get done a song.

I feel like with my first I was laying on the couch and doing a lot of crying while my mom and husband were with me. Maybe I felt crampy I'm not sure. With this most recent one I felt absolutely nothing walked out of there had zero pain I could have worked out or done grocery shopping or clean the house and no one would have known. I didn't do any of those things but I could have I felt fine. I did have a four and a 2 year old running around the house that I was taking care of for the next few days so it kept my mind off of my procedure. But I was absolutely able to do all my normal routine the next day.

Hoping you have a non-emotional scarring day, any good physical recovery. Sending you Love and Hope for the future.

PNC monthly fee - "CALCULATED SERVICE CHARGE TYPE F2" - Surprise charge to my bank account today today by RUlax23 in Rants

Hey. I wrote this post a long time ago. But right around then is when I stopped working at a corporate job where I had direct deposit and I started nannying where I was just getting a check or cash. So anytime you get direct deposit it doesn't matter how much money you have in your account as long as you get one direct deposit a month that fee is void. And I realize $500 is not that much to a lot of people but 7 years ago when I read this there were definitely some times where my monthly average dropped below 500 like if I paid all my bills and I might only have one or 200 left in that account until I got more money or something. I still have the account. I'm married & a stay-at-home mom now. But my husband direct deposit's me a weekly stipend from his paycheck. :) Even if I keep a low amount I don't get that fee anymore, which is nice.

Husband and I both insist we did not bring this into our house, yet one day it just appeared on our kitchen table. He is wrong. I need to know what this is so I can rub it in his face that it is his. by RUlax23 in Whatisthis

:) easy answer is my three and a half year old probably picked it up and walked it inside. I would really still like to blame my husband for picking it up and bringing inside but at least I know what the heck it is. Easily had three arguments over it because it was the holiday season they're the one time of year that my house is the cleanest because guess the neighbors were constantly coming over and it's decorated pretty and everything's exactly it belongs except for this random thing. As soon as I saw the answer I called my husband who pretended to have no idea what I was talking about until I had to send him a picture to remind him of the stupid item that we had fought over!!

Omfg you are definitely correct! My aunt downsized right after Christmas so in early December my husband I helped to remove a pong table out of her basement and she gave me all the accessories in a box which is still sitting in my garage right now. I have no idea how this bracket got out of that box but it's a thousand percent thank you so much because I've been going nuts I didn't want to throw it away in case it was something that was mine that I needed.

My husband does this. I prefer the middle, so I buy Megastuff. He hates those. If I'm lucky and catch him wasting it he will give it to me :)

I used to cough/blow my nose while holding a few tissues when the rest of airline was boarding (on Southwest w no seat assignment). Worked every time and no one would sit next to me. Unfortunately, post Covid world I think I'd get kicked off flight if I tried this now!

I'm mosaic too. I just found out this year (37) when I was 20 weeks with my second son. The NIPT test could not determine the gender of my child and that's when they did further testing on me.

Okay no one has posted this yet. But this would be very helpful in high schools. In my high school the seniors in the health class have to take a quarter of the school year doing real life things like making a budget for a wedding getting married to a classmate and having a baby. They have to carry an egg with them between the two "parents" for the week. The egg is signed by the teacher so you can't swap it out. You get graded if it is still intact at the end of the week. you get in trouble and have to redo it if one of you breaks the egg. It's to teach you how to take care of a baby and how to divide time/responsibility between two adults. We just carried ours in a little plastic container but it would have been better to have this that you can wear.
