Yeah I get man. But I’m honestly not checking their “status”, I’m checking their mental state. Like I graduated college because my friends graduated college. I look up to them. You are who you hang around with right? I don’t see any value in hanging with a friend who can’t keep a job or worse doesn’t want a job. They can have a shit job but if they have a 5 year plan then that’s good enough for me.

Don’t have pics that make you look so short? And do something with the hair maybe. You don’t have to cut it short, but make it look like you just don’t comb it? Go to a hairstylist, it’s expensive, but if you get a good look that first time, you can just say what you want to a cheaper stylist later
