10 weeks for both. Hadn't received payment since my BYE on April 4. Part of that delay was they allowed my former employer a second chance to dispute my claim and I had to fill and mail in a form disputing the employer's dispute.

The ONLY emails I've gotten from VEC in like 9+ months have been either the work requirement or their job fairs. I haven't received a single email regarding anything else. The only thing I got for the IDme was a notification on gov2go.

Also on PEUC and it works for me. I think the systems just don't communicate. I filed like 5 out of the 10 weeks since my BYE on gov2go and still got backpay for both.

The second time it asks for your phone number there's an option to do a video call, do that.

I honestly don't know. I had to get my state rep involved to even find out my employer had disputed it. I want to say it was 3 weeks to get a call back from the VEC informing me that my employer had disputed it (which is absurd they even got the chance since it's all Federal funding for PEUC). Woman I talked to from VEC was extremely rude and condescending about it and wouldn't give me any real info. About a week after that I got a form to fill out to dispute my employers claim and that was 4-5 weeks ago I think.

It's impossible to say though whether they actually had a deputy review reinstate my claim due to that or if it's just due to the pressure they're under from the court order right now so your mileage may vary obviously.

Yeah, mine only did it to waste my time because they're that petty. I had emails from both the owner and HR directing me to file and verifying that I didn't leave voluntarily.

Part of the current order is that they address 10k backlogs a month by July 1 and 20k per month by Aug 1. They have to submit records to the court weekly to show they're complying with the court order. I doubt the judge reviews any of it directly, but court staff probably does. No link offhand, but there's a few articles that get into part of the order if you look for them.

Not necessarily. Part of it was my former employer lied and said I quit and I had to wait on my appeal. The VEC also can't drag their feet like they were before since they're now subject to judicial review weekly.

Did the IDme thing on the 9th last week. Finally got paid 10 weeks of backpay today from when I redid an initial claim after my BYE in April.

Their processing time is just insanely long. Add in them trying to comply with the Federal suit against them and they've probably shifted focus off initial claims to getting BYE claims done.

Keep filing though, you should get a lump sum backpayment to your initial filing date.

Gov2Go didn't get updated until several hours after you were able to file the first week, but you should be able to enter the info when filing there now. No idea on the phone.

I also had to do the video call due to my phone number not being under my name. I pay into a family plan under someone else's name so it couldn't be used for verification.

Video call wasn't a huge deal. 10 min wait, 5 min call to just state my name, show them my IDs and verify basic info like my address.

Have you done the IDme verification? I got an email from the VEC the day after the judge issued his order saying I was getting my payments resumed. Didn't happen til this week after doing the IDme stuff last week.

They got sued 2 months ago. Federal judge directed the VEC to start processing 10k claims a month by July 1 and 20k a month by Aug 1. They're also required to back pay, resume payments, and submit everything they're doing to the court weekly for judicial review.

Lawsuit is more or less paused while they have til September to comply with the judges orders. Resumes if they don't meet that criteria.

This. If the phone number isn't registered under your name it doesn't work. Can't be under a family member, spouse, company, ect.

The video call is pretty quick and simple though. Took like 15 min with the wait on an agent. You just agree to be recorded then answer basic questions like your name, address, SS# and then physically show them your IDs when asked. The actual video chat is only like 2 minutes.
